In an age of keyboards and touch-screens, some might argue that teaching cursive is a vestigial nicety in today’s classrooms. Even handwriting, much less cursive writing, is neglected in the national curriculum guidelines supported by 45 states at the end of 2012. Many educators and scientists, however, are railing against the trend.

Rose is a beautiful touch to a already elegant name. I always imagine the name in cursive writing and that's what does it for me. The royal -ness behind pretty names like Ella, Elizabeth, Victoria etc deserve a short and simple but breath taking middle. Ella Rose ____ is what she will be hearing her whole life. It's perfect!!!

My 10 year-old son attends private school, will enter 5th grade in Aug. 2009. He is a whiz in math, has been reading chapter books since first grade, loves science and has a phenomenal memory. However, has always and continues to have very time with social skills. Is very immature socially, does not reciprocate well, doesn't share well, makes goofy noises at times, and, literally, does not stop talking, even on medication for ADHD.

Rock stars as I had seen them on videos in the 80s n 90s, are nothing of importance now to the majority of Americans. I grew up playing in bands and even quit college to go in a band, to spend the last 10 years of my life playing music, for what, to be WOrking in Burger King now. I have 60 credits, but i guess all the college I went through isnt worth it in this economy, and im afraid to play music again, because it kinda weens me towards depression.

I have also experimented (when neither manic or depressed) with different size handwriting when writing in cursive vs. print-- neat writing in one style was obtained by writing in a different size than neat writing in the other style.

I have my daughters name in pretty cursive and angel wings on either side. It's in between my shoulder blades. She was with me when I got it :) now I just have to figure out what to get for this baby..

would she have other symptoms if it was to do with ear balance, as in pain in ears or something??? she has never had earache in her life. or should we be looking back to nuerology??

Recently around Valentines day I found a note tucked inside the outside cover of a CD in his SUV written in Spanish to My Mi Amour S_______, I am glad we met and I hope we remain together! He denied this as he was writing it from a song in the CD and put his name, but it wasn't his handwriting? I approached him about it,,,,in his small printing on the top in black ink he had dated it 2/14/08, but the print was in Silver ink/very cursive and frilly, unsigned?

I did a white shirt with my kids hand prints painted blue,on the belly with a baby blue chevron ribbon tied under my boobs tied with a cute bow and holding my tummy, and it was collage so the pic on the side had 2 baby,converse boys,shoes and the shoelaces were placed in a boy cursive word and the top said its a boy with a crown tipped on the side of it.

I feel my headaches have increased a bit more (except that one that is gone). Plus I cannot write in cursive anymore! I have tried writing stuff, including my signature and it comes out so unreadable and just a glop of nothing! Anyone else have this? My left hand does feel a bit weaker. I don't know what to do! I started feeling such kind of pain since today and i walked too much yesterday in a mall. Will try to rest. But do these contractions create any prob or labour?

This change is having 2 effects on users. They are either going to rehab. because of the shortage of Prescription drugs, or they are going to Heroin. We discussed this in the last few meetings. I have a nephew in Florida who was taking 40+ Hydro's or whatever per day from 3+ different Doctors. Now the gravy train has ended for him, forced to rehab. due to lack of supply. This will be increasing as the Database gets more centralized. Cannot Doctor shop....

ve aged a lot in a short amount of time, my body. I still get the occational sharp pains in that breast. And I wonder where this lump is going when it's getting smaller & & &.. I think rest seems to be my only best friend, if I get enough of it I do a lot better. I haven't taken any meds for this lump, I refused medication........ but what really gets to me is this TIREDNESS, my energy levels, my body feels unhealthy, I feel incapable... I don't feel like me.

I don't think I have any words of wisdom, but I did a lot of apologizing this year, lol. Even though I didn't do the steps I feel like I have made ammends with those I harmed, mostly my family. I just wanted to ask how step 8 works. Do you go to all the people you hurt with your addiction and apologize, sorry just not sure what you have to do?

So , im 17 and me and my bf have lots of unprotected sex . (stupid , I know) so please dont tell me that . Anyway , I've throw up once at 3am the other night . I am very nauseous 24/7 lately . I have my period right now , but its very light . As light as its ever been . Haven't noticed any swelling/pain in my boobs or nipples .. my ribs hurt like hell . The other was to spontaneously write for 10 minutes, dont know why but i wrote about something my grandad did almost 40 years ago, thats just what popped into my head and i was writing very clear school print, nothing like what i teach/taught. My otherwise natural writing is loopy cursive and small, this was round, large and print, weird though normal apparently, though not for me. Hope thats what you were looking for :-) Cheers......

25 (looks like zh or some other scrawled two initials lower case in cusive writing, I will have to call to ask what that is) Then next line underneath it says OS, circle around the OS + 5.00 (Again with what appears to be a lower case cursive z into an s or l or maybe h) Then with a forward slash out to the right of both lines it says Polycarb aspheric. AR coating and UV coating.

So for the past hour and a half I've been having contractions that are between 3-7 minutes apart but more on the side of 4 minutes apart. Another 30 minutes and me and baby girl will be off to the hospital. I was also having contractions on and off since 8am this morning and then actually started writing them down at 1pm and then took a nap after the last one at 540pm and then woke up to one and started counting and writing down again. I think its time to go soon...like very soon.

I'm 38 weeks been having contractions all day to where it's hard to walk. Went to bed and now they seem to have slowed down however I keep waking up to pee and I wake up starving not sure why. I also felt sick for most of the day and threw up around lunch time This is baby number 2 and it's completely different then the first. I'm just waiting for my water to break like it did last time.

Hey all! I found myself at the doctor yesterday with contractions 3 minutes apart (22 weeks). I have always been a very crampy and braxton hick pregnant person ... so I thought it was probably nothing. But after drinking plenty of water, taking ibuprofen (dr's orders) and resting, it was not easing up at all. My doc greated me with a smile and "You know this can't be anything serious because we don't have any beds for you". There's the chief of OB for you.
