Then here is the worst part, around my mouth/lip area it is very pale! Now is this from past sun damage? All the discolorations? My nose is usually always red at the top too. I've never had this problem before I started to sun bed tan. I use a safe oil free spf 15 foundation ( I already checked the product of the ingredients...they are safe) I just started using dove sentive skin hypoallgentic no fragrance soap bar a week ago to clean my face.
It started about 6 months ago when my lips started developing these dry bumps on my upper lip. I tried to exfoliate them to get rid of it and it worked,but then my lips started to leak a weird liquid and it made my lips really tight and dry. I had also noticed my lips had started to get swollen and itchy and sensitive. I didn’t know what to do so i bought at least 30 chapsticks and lip balms trying to figure out whether or not it was just them being dry.
A couple years ago I had a really bad habit of biting my upper lip which left a small bite mark in the center and made part of it very worn and a darker color. I have stopped this habit about two months ago. It has improved but the mark is still there and causes wrinkles in the middle. Also the new skin seems to be growing quite fast but when it does it starts to peel and falls off, continuing in a cycle of peeling, growing back around the bite mark, then peeling again.
Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.
I have a red patch on my upper lip that is red, dry, but no blister and does not itch. It burns when I get somethign acidic on it. I noticed that I had a blister under my tongue a few day ago. Hello, I have had a flat bump on my bottom lip for about 10 months now. It only appears if I stretch the lip over my teeth (stretching the skin on the lip.) It doesn't raise or change. It occurred about 2 months after giving oral sex. 10 days after i discovered the flat bump on my lip, I discovered a flat bump on the glans of my penis. This bump looks like a flat pimple.
It went away within two days after I put some neo synalar on it but that issue has never happened before. A few days after that i noticed on the right side of my upper lip and indent in my lip with some tiny bumps. Then a day after that I noticed the middle part of my upper lip is swollen and puffy and all my lips have became extremely chapped.
I have recurring hard bumps that come and go in my upper and lower lip. It has been happening for about 6 months and they come and go. There is only one at a time and it usually only lasts for about 1/2 hour or so, but this one I have now has lasted for a few days and has caused my entire lower lip to swell. I have had a swelling that looks like an arch under my lower lip which my dermatologist says it is arciform area of swelling below the lip margin for almost 3 months. The first month she prescribed a cortisone crème to apply twice a day for one month and it hasn't gone away. She then prescribed a steroid ointment (mild) to use for 10 to 14 days 3xday. I am on the 10th day and it hasn't gone away. It is not red, doesn't itch but is so noticeable that I am ashamed to go out.
I woke up this morning and i noticed a tingling feeling on my upper lip, when i looked in the mirror, i noticed a bump on my lip.
i didnt think anything of it and i left it alone, but throughout the day the tingling never went awat and it has gotten bigger, i tried putting vaseline on it but it only seems to be getting worse.

Hi after a new relationship with my girlfriend being the first one with this much kissing (several hours a week) I've developed what appears to be the rash of the upper lip. Is there anything that you could suggest. It's not the lip itself obviously but right above it where the mustache grows. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
and on upper lip there is one small pink pach and other big path on very middle of the upper lip. i have seen to a dermatologist around 1 month back she asked me to put TBIS 0.1% cream on it.but it still not working. and i am very afraid for vitiligo disease.when i asked my dematologist for the blood check up so i can know whether it is some other reason or not she refused for that. please help me what to do and what could be the reason for the lips getting pink and rest part dark brown.
Since almost 2 years now I have problems with my lips. Especially upper lip is affected. First I noticed a bit of swelling but only in 2 places, some time after I started to feel burning/tingling sensation. In a short while color of my upper lip started to dissapear... First a bit on the right side, later also om the left, delicate swelling stays, since 1.5 year unchanged and color of upper lip is almost invisible now... I consulted over 120 specialists from different disciplines.

Tonight I noticed mild sensitivity in my mouth on upper lip right side. I rolled up the lip to look to see if it was a canker or something, and there were a lot of white tiny dots all grouped together. Don't think I ever saw them before. They look clustered and I was hoping it was not herpes but I am concerned. This is 4 days since the last time we met. I do not remember her tongue or anything coming in contact where this "cluster" is.
Btw heres a pic of my lower lip, the upper doesnt have the redness outline (as shown with the green line)... only the lower but thats been there for along time.
The blue outlines the large blemish type thing I was talking about originally... is it acne?

I have the exact same problem (of a lighter discoloration on the upper lip from waxing) and I don't like wearing make up everyday to cover the colour difference. I just realized that you made that comment two years ago so I was just wondering if you found any remedies to equal out the colour.
