On a paper you describe your stress, I might write “the stress I feel to have a child for my hubby and his mother” and then you burn the paper and watching the paper burn is supposed to be an emotional and freeing feeling…..I’m going to give it a try! And I may try acupuncture too since I am about 3 or 4 weeks to the retrieval & transfer date.

Avatar f tn I just found out that I lost my work today because I cannot stay well in a workplace that has clorox, paint, polyurethane, bacteria, with NO return air. I am in a very specialized field--I teach newly arrived refugees from Burma, Africa, etc. tospeak English. I need/love the work.

If the new job caused you to take a pay cut, then you certainly could seek damages for the loss of income, not to mention rank.

For those of us who are still working, the economy in the US and perhaps in the UK too has been extremely tense over the last couple of years. This has compounded the pressures I think we usually feel at work dealing with our illness and managing our careers. How do you all do it? I find myself struggling to keep a healthy balance.
