1530342 tn?1405016490 While support for gay marriage only recently crossed into majority backing, the margin is overwhelming for workplace protection. Republican pollster Alex Lundry found 68% of respondents supported its passage in September. Not only that, about to 8 in 10 respondents assumed incorrectly that such anti-discrimination measures were already in place. Both these results track closely with an earlier poll by the liberal Center for American Progress in 2011.
Avatar n tn I am a tall, thin male and very athletic. From what I have read this is normal for my build. Is this true and will the stress test show if I am OK or there really is a problem. I asked the doctor if this could be normal for my build (tactfully) and he said he had never heard or read that but it is everywhere I look. This job means everything to me and this is the final step, I have passed all other testing including aceing the physical portion.
Avatar f tn I think that there needs to be a discussion about patients not recieving fair medical treatment because they are involved in litigation brought about by personal injury. Not all personal injury patients are involved in litigation because they are looking for some easy monetary gain. Some of us have suffered many losses,( JOBS, HOMES, CARS, GOOD CREDIT RATINGS, RELATIONSHIP OR FAMILY ISSUES, DEPRESSION, LOSS OF CONSORTIUM) due to injuries that has kept us from being able to return to work.
6641413 tn?1383299984 isit possible to get pregnant after a tubal litigation. they was just clamped. its been 9 yrs. this is the first time I've missed a period in that time span.
10452875 tn?1436484351 Look into what HR has for workplace accommodation, that might include you needing to sit whenever you need to. If its not something they can accommodate they might be able to release you early for leave. Look into it.
Avatar f tn I just found out that I lost my work today because I cannot stay well in a workplace that has clorox, paint, polyurethane, bacteria, with NO return air. I am in a very specialized field--I teach newly arrived refugees from Burma, Africa, etc. tospeak English. It may be too late, but is there any kind of mask I could get and still teach--I guess, however, that it would have to cover nose, mouth and eyes--maybe I coul wear it half the time. I need/love the work.
Avatar f tn Is anyone considering tubal ligation or IUD? This is my second high risk pregnancy and I'm sensitive to hormones, so I'm considering a non hormonal IUD or tubal litigation after delivery.
Avatar n tn It definitely sounds as though you were in a hostile work environment that caused you a great deal of stress and eventually caused you to have to seek a new position. The fact that your immediate supervisor was involved rather than trying to help you is also deplorable...and wrong. However, the burden of proof in a legal situation is on you. If the new job caused you to take a pay cut, then you certainly could seek damages for the loss of income, not to mention rank.
Avatar n tn m not much help regarding the buzzing in the ears. It could be related to high stress or anxiety, or uncontrolled blood pressure, sinusitis, ear disease like menier's disease, or medication side effects. Make sure your hearing is tested and of course see your primary care doctor to have a whole body physical exam and see an opthalmologist becauese of the eyestrain. I wonder if you might have some problems with your workplace - such as enviromental issues.
506514 tn?1210785523 Hi PeacelsAlllWant, how are you? Can you give some details of the nature of job you are doing? Usually the stress and strain to the body does cause a bit of muscle soreness at the end of a hard day out. The events at the workplace if bothering might also make you mentally stressed. When you are not working probably you might be following a set sleep cycle, which might make you sleep better. It is better to keep yourself physically active whether at work or not and follow a healthy sleep habits.
1549945 tn?1294006901 I am afraid there are not any at home ways to solve this problem. Tubal litigation is a serious decision and hopefully that was explained by the dr performing the surgery. The only solution for women in this situation is another surgery, which as mentioned is expensive. Not only is a reversal or IVF expensive, it's not gaurnteed to work. I see so many women posting this same question all the time.
975514 tn?1324997938 I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have CFS and or FMS and are dealing with stress in the workplace. For those of us who are still working, the economy in the US and perhaps in the UK too has been extremely tense over the last couple of years. This has compounded the pressures I think we usually feel at work dealing with our illness and managing our careers. How do you all do it? I find myself struggling to keep a healthy balance.
Avatar f tn Stress makes everything worse including MS symptoms. My symptoms get worse but mostly from cumulative stress rather than sudden unexpected types of stress. Illness makes symptms worse too.
Avatar f tn I am in same boat.
Avatar n tn t release any information to you without a medical proxy. In any event in any accident involving potential litigation, it is prudent to obtain all copies of the ER reports as soon as possible. My horror story involves a time when I was minding my own business and brutally assaulted without provocation by several individuals. One wrapped his arms around me while the other worked me over. Cutting to the chase it turns out they were bodyguards for a Greek Billionaire.
Avatar f tn Thanks..
Avatar f tn American Medical Systems, Coloplast and Cook Medical are the manufacturers involved in a mesh model consolidation litigation with over 10000 lawsuits in the U.S. District Courts in progress. Some of the reported complications are organ perforation, chronic pain, infections, and more. You may have legal rights, so please look into this.
Avatar n tn In my case, the rides would set off PVCs, almost always. Probably a combination of the force and the stress/anxiety/adrenalin. Have a great trip! I love WDW!
Avatar m tn Approximately 10% of veins that are used in cardiac bypass fail the first year, and 10% fail every year from time of the surgery. No one knows why they fail, but they do. I doubt your doctor is afraid of litigation as vessel failure is a documented fact. He/she is trying drug therapy to develop what are called collateral arteries, which are tiny vessels that can and do enlarge to take the place of the occluded artery in many if not most cases.
