Avatar f tn If that shift manager is not receptive contact human resources and explain the situation, they generally will help a manager understand the issue and your legal rights on the American's with disability act. Not that you are disabled in a traditional sense but you have physical limitations due to a medical condition. Good luck, be brave, keep talking until someone hears you, and let us know how things turn out!

Avatar f tn Barb - Have you thought about speaking with your Human Resources office to let them know your condition? Maybe if they could make some small accommodations for you (ie. taking more time to get the work done; something that would enable you to do it in an easier manner), until you do feel better, it would help with the stress at work and with this time of year.
Avatar f tn Stress causes our bodies to go into fight or flight mode and forces us to use our bodily resources make the stress hormone cortisol , instead of those resources making all the other hormones we and baby need. So, stress is not a good thing. But I'm sure if its short term baby will be fine. Women in war torn countries still end up having healthy babies :) take a deep breathe and get some relax time.

645800 tn?1466860955 Yesterday when I went to the VA I got very stressed out and soon found that I was developing TN pain on the left side of my face. once I got home and slept for about 15 hours the TN stopped. This was purely stress from my PTSD symptoms. I know that stress can aggravate MS symptoms, but I'm looking for research or other documentation of this fact to present to the VA so that they will treat the effects of this stress as being service connected.
Avatar n tn Not sure what is stressing you out as far as the details. But try to focus on one stress at atime...if you are worried about money - look for local resources to help you with things for baby. Your local WIC office should have a good size list of resources. For family or relationship stress find someone you can trust to talk to for some support. Sometimes just talking will help relieve some stress. know that you cannot control your situation but you can control your choices now and your outlook.
Avatar f tn I don't really know of any good online resources. I tried reading another board but ya know ... it just didn't feel like "home" like this one does. I'm not sure why? Remember, just because you deleted them from your phone, you are still in their phone ...
766667 tn?1259865322 I had to deal with this myself in my workplace and the ignorance that went with it. At the time, I was as ignorant as they were and feared the disease almost irrationally. The weird thing is, -I'm a Paramedic...You'd think health care professionals would be different...Not so. I live south of you near Olympia...I'm sure there are resources she can access that can assist her until she is more settled.

I have been seeing my Psychiatrist monthly and my therapist weekly. I am currently taking 150 bupropion sr twice a day an 20 mg of fetzima along with generic xanax.
