Avatar f tn m not sure what to do to get strong, healthy legs. I work out on the bike for 45 minutes and I do the ski machine for 15 minutes. What other machine could I use? I'm also doing the 30 day squat challenge.

1285110 tn?1420147378 a week on your arms would be enough. I do 20 on arms, 20 on legs, and 20 on core per week. The weight your using is also good, your at 3. I use 3 and 5. If you go up I wouldn't go up more than that.
Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.

Anyways, since i lost all this weight, my body has changed and i'm much thinner but sadly i still have some untone muscle and skin on my stomach and little flubber on my upper upper inner thighs. Daily I run anywhere from 3-6 miles and i do three sets of crunches, "russian twists", planks, and lunges.
Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga is great for strengthening all the muscles you're gonna use during labour and for focusing on your breathing. I've been swimming a lot during my pregnancy as it feels so nice to exercise without feeling the weight of your belly. Walking as often as possible is also good. These are the only exercises I did but depends on your ability and fitness level. I had breathlessness throughout my preg so anything else was too much much me.

It happens throughout the day and especially at night, where I also get muscle shocks that move my entire arms or legs. 20794198 tn?1534529493 part-take in about 4 hiit workouts a week in general. resting heart rate of about 50bpm. i noticed my legs, mainly my knee joints, inner ankle bone and hip/groin have these 'come and go' aching pains. its enough for me to think "corr thats aching abit now, ill sit down or stretch out". it started about a month before even starting regular hiit workouts, and hasnt improved since. my knees feel somewhat 'warm' when i start my hiit workouts.

Avatar f tn Im 22 wks and I've stopped all my zumba classes (the only thing I truly miss) but I try as much as I can to do light weights and use my treadmill as much as possible but some days I can sprint for a hr and sometimes I can't even make it 30 min! So just do what feels rite! Ur body will tell u when it's enough! Congrats!

Avatar m tn I never had any symptoms and in fact was still doing competitive masters swimming doing very challenging workouts and had strong breath recovery. In a normal physical the physician ran an stress test and noticed the irregularity. I had a low ejection fraction upon further investigation but again I've never noticed any discomfort or shortness of breath, really any issues with intense exercise.
Avatar m tn I think he more likely gave you the standard debrief of potential complications (which includes a pacemaker) and a 10% chance of the ablation not working. Call and ask again. ps - I just BQ'd on my 9th marathon on a successfully ablated heart. Stay safe on the road.

Avatar f tn Heres what I did at night so I could get some rest......Soaked in a hot bath with epsoms salts,got out and rubbed my legs down with a mentholated muscle rub,wrapped them tight,but not too tight,with ace bandages,and then wrapped a heating pad around each of them.May sound strange,but it helped me immensely.They also sell something at Walmart called Hylands Restful Legs that many people use.Good luck to you...
483733 tn?1326798446 re really low impact, you actually do break a bit of a sweat and I was surpised to see the other day that when I did the 5 mile walk using my heart rate moniter, I burned about 550 calories without feeling like I exerted myself too much. I got mine from overstock.com and amazon because they seem to have the best selection and prices. My personal favorites are the 3 mile weight loss walk (pink cover) and the 5 mile walk.

Not doing any research, I stupidly made the water very cold (possibly around 40 degrees, maybe a little under - way colder than what is recommended) and submersed my legs and lower stomach into the bath. I only took baths such as this once or twice, and only for a duration of 8-10 minutes. Could my testicles have been harmed in anyway??

We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..
