I want to like go on the beach and to feel confident that i have a good shaped and ripped body. My main desires are 6 packs, with ripped good sized arms (triceps ,biceps, etc), and a big chest. Avatar f tn I had this same conversation with my Dr and trainer. As long as your body temp. doesn't get to high it will not hurt the baby. It takes me longer to work out now due to the frequent breaks I take but I've found that it significantly helps my nausea and... constipation. Sorry if tmi . The most important thing is to listen to your body. Everyone's pregnancy is different so do what's best for you. Good luck!

Also I go swimming four times a week minimum and spend thirty mins to an hour in the pool.

When I lived on the farm, I worked through the pain cuz I had to...hauling firewood, feed, what have you.... I thought I woosed out when I moved into town last year, but now I realize the the timing was right. I started walking to work, a 3 mile jaunt round trip...nothing too strenuous, but it's helped. At least from the waist down anyway.

I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).
Avatar m tn I can't help you greatly, but maybe a little...? Are you doing "different" ab exercises? "Abs" aren't just 1 set of muscles (your abs are actually a group of 6 muscles)...so you shouldn't just work them 1 way. It is very good that you are resting at least a day between ab workouts - ALTHOUGH some experts say that abs are the only muscle group that can be worked every day. The rectus abdominis muscle is the one responsible for the "6-pack".

As you may know Yoga workouts and core workouts are important but you need to activate specify muscles around your waist. Those muscles are named the oblique muscles. The muscles need to be strong, activated so when you start dropping body fat you will see how your waist drops significantly.

Avatar m tn Hi there, Sorry to hear! Hope it's not too painful. The best thing to do is to let it fully heal before doing any other sexual activity. You don't have to tell the doctor it was from masturbating (although he's probably dealt with similar situations before); you can simply say it was during foreplay. The only reason I recommend getting it checked out is so he can recommend or prescribe you a healing cream or ointment to quicken the process. After all, the sooner the better, right?
