You will do both weight training exercises such as pushups, situps and squats, and aerobic exercises such as jumping jacks, jumping rope and burpees.
Avatar f tn I try to walk every day (some days my back just hurts too darned bad) but I also do wall push-ups or any arm workouts with dumbbells (sp?). The walking helps with my weight and will help with labor and then the arm workouts ensure that they won't get worn out picking my son up over and over (also helps them look good, lol)...

Avatar m tn I've had these skin bumps for a week now. They're not big, not itchy, but they appear to spread slowly. I've been to the doctors and they said its allergies and gave me medicine, but I wanna know if this thing has a name. It only popped out randomly, but I could think of a few reasons why. Maybe from me eating eggs for breakfast for a week, using dirty dumbbells, hot and humid environment, not showering after workouts, or stress.
Avatar f tn Think chest press/chest flys with dumbbells, bench press, and good ole pushups. Also shadow boxing with small dumbbells can help too. Tweaking your diet and getting at least 20-30 mins of cardio will also help shed fat there eventually because you cant spot check fat. Avatar f tn I'm not a fan of working out, and in reality who is... But since I just turned 18 I absolutely need to lose weight! I'm about to go to college and I don't want to weigh 263lbs! Anyway it is really embarrassing to go to a gym and my family gives me no support so I never do it at home. Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do?
Avatar f tn do any of you used to workout before you found out you were pregnant? do you still workout? I used to go 4-6x/wk and now I only go 2-3x. it's freaking me out. I was trying to lose fat before. I'm about 25%bf and I'm losing the little definitions I gained because I lack motivation to workout. and being nauseous all the time doesn't help either. I want to keep working thru the pregnancy and be in 'shape' for labor.
Avatar n tn What do you ladies do for workouts while pregnant? Any schedules or specifics you follow? Any good advice? Im really trying to keep my body in shape.

Avatar f tn Can anyone recommend a good workout plan? My last pregnancy I gained 72 lbs and I am not wanting to do that again. Just wanting and healthy routine to help manage my weight so I don't go overboard again.
Avatar m tn re primarily using your pecs, but after a few inches your triceps take over. So you need to strengthen your triceps with exercises like rolling dumbbell extensions and dumbbell floor presses. Your back needs to be worked also. Your lats are used as a base to push from. Barbell rows and close grip lat pull downs. I like the Gironda Lat Pulls for a wide V-shape back! Google it!!
Avatar f tn so i wonder is there any way to lose out weight by doing what kind of exercise and how long do i need to do it a day ?
Avatar f tn Some people feel nauseous during tough workouts (like me) and others feel the need urge to run to the toilet (like my mother.) Exercise really helps get things moving. But you can better control it with appropriate amounts of fluids (and sometimes less water is better pre-workout in this case and sipping as you go instead) and trying to not push yourself too hard too soon.
Avatar f tn This time im sticking with it. What i do is run in the mornings, about 1 or 2 miles, make sum eggs, do the workouts they give here, then later on in the day go outside for a walk for an hour. On top off that just eat healthy and trust me ul see the weight come off. Within 5 days i lost 7 lbs but that's just cuz it was the very start. After that ul lose it gradually.
