I personally stopped swimming (because it's quite expensive here) when we got a dog when I was 4 months pregnant so now I'm still walking 2-3 hours everyday at 37 weeks pregnant and I've gained about 28 lbs (I'm quite tall). Hope you find something that works for you!

Avatar f tn do any of you used to workout before you found out you were pregnant? do you still workout? I used to go 4-6x/wk and now I only go 2-3x. it's freaking me out. I was trying to lose fat before. I'm about 25%bf and I'm losing the little definitions I gained because I lack motivation to workout. and being nauseous all the time doesn't help either. I want to keep working thru the pregnancy and be in 'shape' for labor.

I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to work out but don't want to do anything excessive and I don't want to be a couch potato my whole pregnancy lol. Any ideas are appreciated!

Avatar f tn Once you get too big, there are so many modified core workouts and other workouts for pregnant women. Like i said, i did everything i did before pregnancy aside from high impact. I had healthy pregnancies and big, fat babies. But no matter, you're good to go on just about anything during your first trimester (minus high impact). Good luck!

Avatar f tn If you don't like workouts like me, try beach bodys rockin body workout (its kind of like zumba but not as intense). Its super fun and easy. Plus it doesn't look like you're working out, just dancing. Don't let anyone keep you down. You'll get to your goal weight! I believe in you! Same with you morgan1342.

Avatar f tn That's not true. If you look at pregnancy workouts they always do that stretch in the beginning of workouts haha. I workout everyday and all I know I can't do is on my back abs.

Avatar f tn d say squats back workouts ,YouTube has so many good workouts for pregnant women u can watch if u dont kno how to do them... And eating healthy , i only gained like 10bs ,in my pregnancy... but everyone is diff, the more your active the quicker you get back in shape..
Avatar f tn This is my third pregnancy and Ijust walk the treadmill and do the elliptical. You probably should not being doing ab or cardio workouts. While pregnant slow down and be safe.
