We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar n tn We could recommend specific exercises, but those two areas can be reached with probably over a thousand different ones, both with weights and without. But they do have to be done correctly to hit the right areas and so you don't injure yourself.
Avatar f tn I had a pre-natal pilates video that I liked doing- I'd go to the library and check out the videos there that are pre-natal, then you can get an idea of what you like without spending any cash.

Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga is great for strengthening all the muscles you're gonna use during labour and for focusing on your breathing. I've been swimming a lot during my pregnancy as it feels so nice to exercise without feeling the weight of your belly. Walking as often as possible is also good. These are the only exercises I did but depends on your ability and fitness level. I had breathlessness throughout my preg so anything else was too much much me.

Avatar f tn I've had the same problem my whole first trimester. I'm almost in my second as well so I hope to start working out again soon. In the meantime I go to the pool when I can and do some swimming and stuff.
Avatar f tn My regular week is usually one day of yoga, one day on the elliptical+abs, two days of work out videos and walking, and a long hike on the weekends. Good luck! I think sticking w daily exercise has helped me to feel good throughout this pregnancy so far!
Avatar f tn almost every time i run or do the eliptical i feel like i have to poop, the strange thing is, i never really have to go its just a sensation, and its not a comforatable urge either, it first feels like lower abdominal period cramps or like im about to have diarrhea, then if i continue doing whatever im doing it quickly waves upward into nausea and i get really sweaty and the color drains from my face.

Avatar n tn right now I have a 5 mile day, two 4 mile days, a 3 mile day, and a day of 45 minutes on the elliptical. I sprinkle ab and arm workouts in there as well. on September 28th I weighed 153.4 lbs and a month later (today) I weighed 156.4 lbs. How is it that I have gained 3 lbs in one month with the eating and fitness schedule I am on??

Avatar n tn Since this occurs while lifting weights and not during cardio, it is very likely due to stimulation of your vagal nerve. When you lift weights and hold your breath during the actual lift, you 'bear down' (a bit similar to being on the toilet). This triggers pressure on the vagal nerve which slows the heart temporarily. Vagal nerve reflexes are particularly sensitive in young athletic males.

Avatar f tn What i do is run in the mornings, about 1 or 2 miles, make sum eggs, do the workouts they give here, then later on in the day go outside for a walk for an hour. On top off that just eat healthy and trust me ul see the weight come off. Within 5 days i lost 7 lbs but that's just cuz it was the very start. After that ul lose it gradually.
Avatar f tn m a morning workout person and feel I get the most out of my workouts in the morning and it sure starts my day off with a positive attitude as well as gives me energy throughout the day........ Oddly enough my wife is the exact opposite, she likes evening workouts so it depends mostly on when you're most motivated. Just my opinion, hope it helps :) keep up the good work!

951898 tn?1296134343 then when my strength was back up I started kick boxing, not just the exercise I did the actually training workouts kickboxers use. I went from 205 to 105lbs!! The exercises for kickboxers are hard and time consuming, so if u make a schedule of exercise times u r more than likely to stick to it. Hope this helps. I am 36 wks preggers again and gained 60 this time, but I plan on doing the same thing I did before starting w the Carmen Electra workout.
