Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..
Avatar n tn As these are easy areas to hit, if you are a member of a gym any personal trainer can teach you hundreds of exercises that work on these areas and will be able to see what your current fitness level is so they can tailor it to your ability to do them and not injure yourself. If you go on You Tube, my guess is you'll find a ton of demonstrations of exercises for these two areas as well, though you won't be as assured of doing them correctly as someone showing you in person and watching you.

Avatar f tn My regular week is usually one day of yoga, one day on the elliptical+abs, two days of work out videos and walking, and a long hike on the weekends. Good luck! I think sticking w daily exercise has helped me to feel good throughout this pregnancy so far!

Avatar f tn If you're too tired at night your energy and enthusiasm may lack, if that is the case than maybe do morning. Everyone is different, I'm a morning workout person and feel I get the most out of my workouts in the morning and it sure starts my day off with a positive attitude as well as gives me energy throughout the day........ Oddly enough my wife is the exact opposite, she likes evening workouts so it depends mostly on when you're most motivated.

Because when you run you usually have your mouth open and when your mouth dries out so does your tongue and when that happend as your breath goes down your throat it continues to dry and it causes gaggin the best thing you can do is get yoursef some lemon drops and suck on them when your running. Carry a bottle of water and have a proper breakfast every morning you run. It can occur if you are having any respiratory problems such as asthma.

This triggers pressure on the vagal nerve which slows the heart temporarily. Vagal nerve reflexes are particularly sensitive in young athletic males. after the vagal response the heart can try to make up for the lost beat by throwing in a few extra ones (simply put). This is harmless despite the odd feeling.

I'd get up, take my med, turn on the coffeepot, get into the shower; by the time my shower, etc was done, so was the coffee and it would have been about 30 min from taking my med......... 3:30 was early enough to get up, I wasn't getting up any earlier just so I could wait a full hour. Or you can set your alarm for an hour or 2 earlier, take your med, then go back to sleep, like Bruce does.
Avatar f tn I suggest not doing the 500 cal. diet!! How much protein do you REALLY need? First of all, protein itself is vital to living. In fact, you could go months, even years without eating carbs (NOT recommended - of course), and still survive and keep on living. But if you eliminate protein, it would only take a few weeks before your muscles would atrophy (shrink drastically) and your internal organs would literally start to deteriorate. So, you would start to die.
Avatar f tn I do 3 40 minute cardio sessions a week. I couple this with 3 running sessions per week on the treadmill. My running sessions are interval trainings. The first week I walked briskly for 2 minutes and ran 1 minute 10 times. The second week I walked one minute and ran 1 minute 15 times. The third week I walked 1 minute and ran 2 minutes 10 times. The fourth week I walked 1 minute and ran 4 minutes 7 times. The fifth week I walked 1 minute and ran 6 minutes 5 times.

Avatar n tn I have been a type 1 diabetic for 40 years. I have to agree that the pump is not the answer to all problems. I was on the pump for two years and my a1c's did not change from the time I was on injections. My a1c's are usually 6.2. If your sugars are dropping during workouts you should not take any insulin for approx. 1 1/2 or 2 hour before working out. I have to add that the cost of pump supplies is rediculous 6500.00 for a 4 month supply.

At this time I also began to increase my workout frequency and was constantly sweating. I self medicated with doxycycline (generic) 200mg a day for a month and then I was tested negative for STDs. I have tried all sorts of anti-fungal creams and cortizoid. I have taken flucozanole 400mg a day for 2 weeks.
798555 tn?1292791151 I dont use the same routine. I change it up. And sometimes it depends on what body parts aren't sore! Not enough time for me in the morning before work. Plus I do a lot outside - that takes time, so late afternoons on weekdays, but in the winter that means I finish skiing or snowshoeing in the dark. Weekends I'll do mornings, but don't get as much out of it since I'm not an AM person.

Urine analysis showed no problems. Ultra-sound showed that on the right testes there is epididymitis. In addition, both testes had an increased blood flow which the doctor says is orchitis. The past couple days I have not felt the discomfort. I told that to the doctor.
