Avatar f tn Anyway it is really embarrassing to go to a gym and my family gives me no support so I never do it at home. Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do? Should I just continue to do vigorous house work and walking the dog? Or should I just get a gym membership? Thanks I appreciate it!
Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..
Avatar n tn What do you ladies do for workouts while pregnant? Any schedules or specifics you follow? Any good advice? Im really trying to keep my body in shape.
Avatar n tn I want to workout my abs and thighs. Any workouts that you have in mind to help me workout?
Avatar n tn years ago my ana was high, rheumatologist said it was a fuke as there were no symptoms.i have no insurance at this time and cannot afford to see a specialist and have tons of bloodwork done.does any one have some answers regarding synthroid and pain.
Avatar m tn I have had right side rib and chest pain for four months after P90x workouts. I am a healthy 27 year old male 6'3" 190 pounds. I have had x-rays, blood tests and an ultrasound but no MRI yet. I feel like it's most likely bad muscle tearing or other injury from the workouts as everything else came up negative.
Avatar f tn No. Don't "push through it". Depending on the area strained you could end up with :shin splints", which will put you out of the exercise business for quite some time. You won't die, but reasonable rest will provide you with the best road to optimal physical fitness.
Avatar n tn are you in pain now, and does exercise cause you pain?
Avatar n tn Hello all, I have noticed recently, during my weightlifting routines at the gym, that I will occasionally get a fluttering sensation in my heart that lasts about 10 to 15 seconds and occurs randomly while lifting weights or doing abdominal exercises, but oddly enough never during cardio workouts such as running or swimming (chance?). These "flutters" are quite worrisome, as I feel as if my heart may not recover it's consistent beat sometimes.
Avatar f tn re already active it is fine to keep doing your regular workouts.. just monitor your heart rate, try not to get above 150. I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).
10233378 tn?1427161882 I'm 6 weeks and 2 days and I was just curious on what workouts are good while you're pregnant? I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to work out but don't want to do anything excessive and I don't want to be a couch potato my whole pregnancy lol. Any ideas are appreciated!
1292438 tn?1276120904 Follow a few tips to start losing belly fat but it would not be a faster phenomenon. Major factors contributing to belly fat are overeating, no exercise, lack of balanced diet. Serving sizes bigger than required/ eating without being hungry/ snacking while watching movies, TV. You have two each small sized servings more frequently a day as compared to large servings few times a day. Include fruits, vegetables, and grains (multiple servings), meat/dairy products (once or twice).
Avatar f tn I would not restart cardio workouts until you are pain free, and have completed a PT program, which can be as short as three weeks, designed to prevent reinjury. You didn't mention whether or not you have had an xray or an MRI. If not, and if the pain perists despite appropriate rest and treatment, they should be done to rule out other pathology, especially a stress fracture.
Avatar f tn I've had the same problem my whole first trimester. I'm almost in my second as well so I hope to start working out again soon. In the meantime I go to the pool when I can and do some swimming and stuff.
Avatar m tn I went bowling one night after I was already sore from a vigourous workouts throughout the week. Ever since then I have had moderate to severe pain underneath and behind my right rib cage and into my chest. It feels like a have a ball stuck behind there many times and I can't even sleep on my right side. I have had numerous blood tests since then and chest x-rays that have show nothing.
Avatar m tn My legs were pretty numb after the bath for like 15 minutes, but I felt normal after that. No pain or any signs of actual injury. After learning that ice baths should not be colder than like 45 degrees, I am kind of worried I could have harmed my fertility. I know, I am probably being neurotic, but I am just looking for some piece of mind about this. When I think of the fact that people go ice/winter swimming in water that is literally freezing, I think that I must be okay, but...

First 3 were hard ..... now no pain to a level of 1 out of 10. Only at night i feel arthethris. You think this is good sign if i can walk now and all is well. Avatar f tn So I had my 1st baby (now 4yr old) back in 2010, and I JUST found out that I'm having baby number 2. The 1st time I had no problems at all. However this time around I'm having cramps/ pains in my stomach and I found out at 6 1/2 weeks instead of 4.....I can't help but to feel scared for my unborn baby because this pass 2 months I been training hard (I'm active duty army) is anybody else having this problem?
Avatar f tn When you say that you work out a few days a week, is it cardio only? If so, try doing 20 minutes of strength training before your cardio workouts. What happens when we get older is that we lose muscle mass, which makes the metabolism slow even more. Don't change your current workouts, but add that strength training--look up tutorials on youtube on squats, lunges, biceps curls, tricep kickbacks, back rows, (female) pushups, chest presses, planks, crunches, etc.
