Avatar f tn I'm not a fan of working out, and in reality who is... But since I just turned 18 I absolutely need to lose weight! I'm about to go to college and I don't want to weigh 263lbs! Anyway it is really embarrassing to go to a gym and my family gives me no support so I never do it at home. Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do?
Avatar f tn Theres nothing protecting your belly while you fly thru the water. Most places went let you on the water rides because of liability issues. And if you have to question if something is risky or not during your pregnancy, then why take the risk & do it.
Avatar f tn Before and after meal, I always drink water for about 3 glasses until I feel my stomach is full. After eating, I drink more or almost 1 litre (Because I really really love water) til I feel like my tummy gets bigger and bigger. After that, I feel like I can't move because my stomach is really full. Does it make my belly to get bigger or I will lose weight because I drink a lot of water?
Avatar f tn This time im sticking with it. What i do is run in the mornings, about 1 or 2 miles, make sum eggs, do the workouts they give here, then later on in the day go outside for a walk for an hour. On top off that just eat healthy and trust me ul see the weight come off. Within 5 days i lost 7 lbs but that's just cuz it was the very start. After that ul lose it gradually.
Avatar f tn I've had the same problem my whole first trimester. I'm almost in my second as well so I hope to start working out again soon. In the meantime I go to the pool when I can and do some swimming and stuff.

I highly recommend you read this article and watch the videos on the page.
Avatar n tn I had an MRI & there was no swelling. I was cleared to begin workouts & started my freshman year of college. I am in the AFROTC so I work out hard every day, take vitamins & drink a gallon of water daily. It has been about 5 months since my injury & I am getting headaches every day at the same time. Could this be from the concussion? Should I have it checked out before I go back to school next week?
Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar f tn I still Jazzercise 4 times a week and I'm 13 weeks along. You can keep doing your pre-pregnancy workout if your body is used to it. If you're starting from scratch, try walking or water aerobics. Water aerobics is actually awesome during pregnancy! I was told no flat-on-your-back abs after the first trimester, and not to get my heart rate over 160bpm.
Avatar m tn Also, does he do abdominal workouts? Hot water, and heat in general, helps relax the muscles. If his muscles are extremely tense, or have been stressed from workouts, the cramping could be from the release of the lactic acid that builds up in tensed muscles. I would recommend he start drinking lots of water after his showers, and try to flush the lactic acid out of his system. He should also drink a LOT of water during the day, as well as during and after exercising.
Avatar f tn Drink eight to nine glasses of fluid a day I suggest water. Water helps to flush out fat as you lose weight. Select whole grain breads, rice and pastas over refined grains, and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. For protein, eat lean meats, eggs, fish and nuts, and choose low-fat dairy products. No salty foods, soda, sugary juice, and candy. Choose fruits and vegetables instead. Be careful with the fruit some are high in sugar. Google the following exercises to see how to perform them!
Avatar f tn Using a sauna suit would help get rid of that extra water you may have in your thighs. They're about $20 at Big 5 Sporting Goods and they also help for all over your body. Good luck!

Avatar n tn Congrats on your pregnancy too! The general rule of thumb is that during the first trimester you can do what you've always been able to do. During pregnancy it's all about maintenance, so don't try to build muscle or add more miles to your jog, etc.
Avatar m tn ve been suffering from random muscle twitching and tremors that occur mostly in my legs and arms. It happens throughout the day and especially at night, where I also get muscle shocks that move my entire arms or legs. There have been many days where I couldn't get any sleep, and I feel tired during the day as well. This happened after I've been doing bootcamp/crossfit classes for an average of 5-6 days a week.

Avatar f tn ve done tons of research about stomach fat and the best way to burn it is by a balanced diet and by drinking a lot of water and engaging in both cardio and strength training, but is there anything else? i workout usually everyday, at the least 5 times a week, very rarely 4. I eat quite heathy, taking in a lot of fruits and vegetables and trying to watch my serving sizes and portions.
Avatar n tn I dont know if its because I am freaking out But am I going too die I stopped drinking water about an hour 2 hours and 45 minutes would I have died already if I had water intoxication?
Avatar n tn It always happens when I finish and usually also happens in the middle of my run. It started with my very first race in 7th grade and has never gone away or even diminished slightly. It is very painful and often slows down my running while in the process but I have never thrown up or felt sick. I am very healthy and don't have much stress in my life. I've asked coaches, other runners, and some doctors but nobody can figure out why I violently gag and how I can make it go away.
