Avatar f tn This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body. I encourage you to visit Dr Mercola’s site to learn more about Peak 8 fitness because I personally feel that it is one of the best ways to exercise, especially considering the speed at which you can lose fat and build muscle. I highly recommend you read this article and watch the videos on the page.
Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..
Avatar f tn I'm not a fan of working out, and in reality who is... But since I just turned 18 I absolutely need to lose weight! I'm about to go to college and I don't want to weigh 263lbs! Anyway it is really embarrassing to go to a gym and my family gives me no support so I never do it at home. Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do?
Avatar n tn I want to workout my abs and thighs. Any workouts that you have in mind to help me workout?
Avatar f tn The pattern of breathing during the workouts can also be the factor. If you are not taking in enough oxygen during training and not exhaling the carbon dioxide adequately, then there is a chance that some form of 'acidosis' develops and this can produce pain and also cause headaches. Regards.

Avatar m tn A couple days ago I started noticing a flash, almost like an afterimage from a camera flash, just a small circular area in my lower left peripheral vision when blinking and in my right eye only. Couldn't see it any other time, sounds a lot like the "mystery" spot others on this forum seem to have. Anyway, I went to get it checked today, my regular Dr. was booked so I saw the optometrist on staff.
Avatar f tn I've had the same problem my whole first trimester. I'm almost in my second as well so I hope to start working out again soon. In the meantime I go to the pool when I can and do some swimming and stuff.
Avatar f tn I am very interested in staying fit throughout my pregnancy. I am 17 weeks and pretty in shape prior to being pregnant. Any advice or know of any good excercise links ? Or books/dvds ?
1292438 tn?1276120904 Before you do any rotational exercises, brace your abs forcefully—as if you’re about to be punched in the gut—and hold them that way as you do the movement. This limits your range of motion and helps to keep you from rotating excessively at your lower spine. Abs: Mountain Climber with Hands on Swiss Ball The benefit: It’s one of the simplest yet most effective ways to tighten your tummy. In fact, you’ll barely have to move a muscle.
Avatar f tn I do 15 minutes of stair master and walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes every evening.
Avatar m tn I am a 5'9, naturally 145ibs girl who eats a very high protein and healthy diet and works out 6 days a week. In August 2011, my Dr. switched my birth control pill and around December I started getting all of these weird side effects. I was constantly starving, like my stomach was a bottomless pit, I was tired all the time, couldn't focus, etc etc a ton of symptoms that pointed out that I would have a thyroid problem.
Avatar f tn Out door running and some basic workouts combined with high intensity intervals...something like mountain climber, jumping jacks, jump rope, switch kicks, burpes, squat jumps, push ups, and belt kicks....at the top of my head...
10233378 tn?1427161882 I'm 6 weeks and 2 days and I was just curious on what workouts are good while you're pregnant? I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to work out but don't want to do anything excessive and I don't want to be a couch potato my whole pregnancy lol. Any ideas are appreciated!

Avatar f tn I am 42 years old, 5' 5, and 205 lbs. I wear size 12/14. 3 years ago I quit my office job after 16 years. I was about 185-190 lbs at that time. I then lost about 10-15 lbs in 1 1/2 months by eating better and drinking more water and using the treadmill (run/walk) 5 (+/-) time a week for about an hour or so (4-5 miles). Just because. I came back to my office job 1 year ago (where a lot of women who like to eat work as well). I was 175 lbs when I came back. Now I weigh 205...
Avatar m tn Even though I was constantly hungry the past few monthes and tired I still mantained a super healthy diet as well as my intense workouts. The duration from December to April I was doing crossfit workouts, I'd burn around 1000 calories an hour. The weight gain made 0 sense. I went to a Dr. office to get my blood checked and the results came back perfect, my Dr. told me I needed dietary counseling.
Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.
Avatar m tn t detect anything in his in office exam that the chances of me having als is about 1 in 50 maybe even 1 in a 100. What are your thoughts on this? I know this can be a very hard disease to diagnose but he seems pretty sure that I don't have it. However he is putting me through my 2nd emg/ncv, the first one done elsewhere was rather quick and I felt didn't offer much merit. I am also going to have a ssep test done. Can you tell me why the ssep test would be administered in my case?
