Avatar f tn I'm not a fan of working out, and in reality who is... But since I just turned 18 I absolutely need to lose weight! I'm about to go to college and I don't want to weigh 263lbs! Anyway it is really embarrassing to go to a gym and my family gives me no support so I never do it at home. Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do?
Avatar f tn These are the only exercises I did but depends on your ability and fitness level. I had breathlessness throughout my preg so anything else was too much much me.
Avatar n tn I want to workout my abs and thighs. Any workouts that you have in mind to help me workout?
Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.

Avatar f tn If you are aiming at losing weight, it is important to calculate your current BMI and the target BMI. The target BMI should be in a healthy range. For exercises you could start with the easy ones such as walking, sprinting running etc. A balanced physical workout should rotate between various activities such as cycling, swimming, jogging, gymming etc. Aside indulging in moderate amounts of physical exercise it is also essential to maintain a healthy diet plan.
Avatar f tn ll experience increases in strength, fitness and endurance after the first couple weeks of training. If you are at an intermediate level, or have trained on and off for some time, you'll more likely see results after the first month or two. If you're advanced, such as an athlete or person who has been training consistently for years, noticeable increases in strength or fitness will take a couple of months, as the body is already highly conditioned. Hope that helps!
Avatar n tn My Dr has always told me in the first trimester I can do any workouts that were at my fitness level before the pregnancy. You can do any workouts as long as you don't push yourself harder then you were before the pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I wanted to do my normal routine as well. I am definitely a fitness girl, but I toned my workouts way back just to be safe. I did fast paced walking until 32 weeks. Now, at 37 weeks I can't walk much. I do toning and strength training with light or no weights (lunges and squats are my favorite). My husband is a personal trainer, so I had to just accept slower workouts and just focus on retaining muscle memory. It's better to be a little conservative for the benefit of your baby.
Avatar f tn After my 2nd (6lbs 14oz) I became quite the fitness junky and just rescently found out I'm expecting. Am I okay to continue all my workouts? No weights involved... Just worked really hard to get my body back after my 1st (8lbs 12oz)and finally got my highschool abs back... I wanna keep at it so I can stay fit and active..
Avatar m tn I am a 32 year old male. I have been diagnosed with CSR in right eye. Upon consultation to an eye specialist, he suggested to wait for two months & would cure itself. Avatar f tn Hello everybody, How's everybody around here??? Just had a question regarding workouts and exercises. Has anyone experienced increase in pain or new abscess formation with increased activity or workouts??? I'm basically not a fitness freak but joined the Gym in order to get a lil fit and boost my immune system.. But whenever I have attended these sessions (Body Jam class a dance activity) I've noticed a new abscess formation.
Avatar f tn if you use any weights keep it minimal and think more cardiovascular....try light treadmill ....sitting toe touch....also great one is sit in an invisible chair against the wall....so squat place back on wall and keep knees 90 degrees ...
Avatar f tn These non-running workouts will boost your level of fitness and may add enough extra leg strength to make a difference in your running times. stretch key muscle groups, especially as you get older. The evidence is that stretching improves running, however as a runner you should stretch hamstrings, calf, gluts, and hip flexors almost daily to ensure good range of motion in your hips. Lose weight if you need it!
10840278 tn?1424816083 Instead alternating a cardio workout one morning and then a weight-training session on another day in the evening will help you in achieving your fitness goals. Proper rest and recovery from training sessions, such as 48 hours between strength training sessions focused on the same muscle group, should be allowed to ensure progress and prevent injuries. All This being said my routine is in the A.M.

5857951 tn?1375565903 The Peak 8 routine it will quickly raise your heart rate 8 times for very short bursts, with a cooling down period in between. Ideally you’ll be sprinting or cycling full throttle for 30 seconds with a 90 second cool down in between each outburst.  This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body.
Avatar f tn So I'm doing stuff like dancing, HIIT workouts, weights, etc. just normal exercises but I also want to start jogging. What type or shoes should I get that I can use for every day exercise and jogging. Can I just do everything in running shoes? Also does anyone recommend a certain brand. Nothing to expensive. I don't want to pay like 200 dollars. Honestly the most I want to pay is 40 to 50. Might even go 60.
Avatar f tn I use the tracy mallet fitness pregnancy system 3 in 1 dvd. It's Got easier work outs for first trimester and some different ones for second and third trimester. Also has works out to get your body ready for labor and post natal. I have two other dvds but this one is my favorite.
Avatar n tn Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body. I encourage you to visit Dr Mercola’s site to learn more about Peak 8 fitness because I personally feel that it is one of the best ways to exercise, especially considering the speed at which you can lose fat and build muscle. I highly recommend you read this article and watch the videos on the page.
Avatar n tn From there you figure different heart zones to work in. 70-80% they say is where you achieve good aerobic fitness. I take medication to slow my heart, as I have been diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia. However, I am still able to achieve HR in 70-90% of my target heart rate. However, I only spend a little time in upper ranges. I base my workouts on how my BP is doing. If i do overexert, too much time at upper ends, it can drive my HR up.
Avatar m tn I am not sure about the arrhythmia part, however after spending 15 years in the fitness industry most fitness pro's say the morning is the most effective time to exercise.
