The walking helps with my weight and will help with labor and then the arm workouts ensure that they won't get worn out picking my son up over and over (also helps them look good, lol)...

Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. What should I do? Avatar f tn Look up the "butt bible" on youtube. It's hard work but so worth it. If you do the work you WILL REEK THE BENEFITS. I swear, works wonders. Or just do a crap ton o squats.
Avatar f tn Think chest press/chest flys with dumbbells, bench press, and good ole pushups. Also shadow boxing with small dumbbells can help too. Tweaking your diet and getting at least 20-30 mins of cardio will also help shed fat there eventually because you cant spot check fat. It has to leave in the order it came for the most part but weight training those areas can help build muscle which in turn aids in burning fat.

Hold the dumbbells and do biceps curls, triceps extensions and side raises to work the arms and shoulders. Hold the weights at your sides as you do lunges and squats. Use the exercise ball to do crunches for your abs, planks for your core and shoulder bridge exercises to work your butt and hamstrings.

We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar f tn Cardio - take your son on walks to a park that's a 20-30 min walk away, walking at a moderate pace. There's also walking clubs, and probably walking clubs that are just for Mum's! You can also do jogging, if you're up to it. You could even walk at faster paces each week till you're ready to do jogging :) There's also high intensity training you can do at home, just google "HIT workouts" (or search Pinterest !

Avatar n tn Starting from arm workouts (using 5lb weights and resistance bands) then followed by workouts that can be done at home later. (Squats, dips, etcetera ). I was not every active pre pregnancy but I would like to keep my body tight. Will this do any harm to my unborn? Thanks.
Avatar f tn Bench presses and dumbbells work well on the arm muscles to tone them, while ab-crunches and side lifts work well on the abdominal and thigh muscles. Walking jogging, cycling etc are best for toning the thigh muscles. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
