Avatar f tn it doesn't depend if you do your exercise to full or to empty stomach, just do the one which is better for you. I like to eat one banana before I go for a run. And you need to run like for 30minutes per day 6 times per week. So you can have one rest day. And after running do some push ups, pull ups, abbs and squats! That will help you:) and remember to eat healthy, your condition and weight losing depends a lot about what you eat. So eat good fats (avocado, nuts) and proteins!

I currently workout at Anytime Fitness! I love it and would recommend it to everyone! All the cardio machines have a 13 inch TV on them, and have the Dish Network! I love working out there and their weight machines are great! I also just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! that 30 minute video will kick your butt!!

Avatar m tn I think that u used to much weight try not to use as much weight as be for get like 3 to 5 lbs dumbbells n curl them as u are walking OK or you can go to Walmart n get yourself a setbelt they really work good n they do not really coast that much I think from $10-$20 if I remember right but I do know no more then $20 oOK hope this helps u out n good luck if u need to know any other workout stuff every mail me I know a lot n I workout 5 days a week my name n email is Jason ***@**** hope to hear f
Avatar m tn After 3 weeks of heavy training i was having mild symptoms of dizziness and stiffness in my neck region plus mild numbness tingly feeling in my arms which goes to my index finger and thumb. My arms are not always numb or tingly but it comes and goes specially after a workout or at night. These things have been bothering me since a week now. I also noticed in past week that overhead exercises bothers me. I stopped weight training for now and doing only Cardio. I never had such issues before.
Avatar f tn I do 5 days a week at the gym just started in January. I am overweight and wanted to get healthy then surprise i found out I'm pregnant and currently 7 weeks. My daily routine is 20 mins on treadmill, 20 on bike or elliptical, 60 crunches or situps, then I work out my thighs, Lower back and other areas. My doctor said to keep working out and drink tons of water so i don't cramp up.

I just do some light cardio (making sure I am never short of breath) and mini crunches on an exercise ball, and them some light weights on machines (they aren't very heavy so that I strain, but I do lots of repetitions so that I can still feel the burn). I have been going this whole time through even my last pregnancy and I think it helps me with the symptoms.
Avatar m tn It is great for pushups, If you get on top of the ball and move your arms out in front and keep your body on the ball you just go up and down using your arms and it makes push ups easy. If you look on line you could see the exercise. I know it might be hard to picture but it is a great way to do pushups. I used to work out daily and did it all. This injury has really taken away from my life but using the bands and rubber rope and ball does help. Hope I made some sense.

Avatar f tn I have jumped rope for yrs..................since my children were little kids!! It is a good exercise for your arms and legs.....and it will get the heart a pumping!!! You can jump as fast or as slow as you want.....I also hoola hoop,good for the waist.

Get up and walk around for a few minutes every hour or so. Take a brisk walk on your lunch break. Don't forget that housework counts as exercise, too, so put some extra movement into it. "Dance" with your vacuum cleaner or dust rag...
Avatar f tn One suggestion is to do your cardio on the elliptical with the moving arms. Other than that, lots of weight training like rows, lat pulldowns, bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, shoulder presses... Although ideally every major muscle in the body should be worked so def train lower body too.
