Avatar f tn I absolutely love working out and keeping my body fit,but now that im prego with my eggo i have no idea what excersises im allowed to do besides boring walking -_- . so far all i heard is that squats are bad because of joints. & im only 7 weeks so id rather get it started now so it wont be to hard in my later weeks,i just dont want to hurt my baby...any exercise suggestions?
Avatar f tn That would usually mean how vigorous it is as far as cardio workout. Someone who is in shape can exercise vigorously, but somebody who has not been getting any real exercise will need to start out with an easier program. Somebody in between can work out at a moderate pace. Everybody should exercise a minimum of 3 days a week to make any gains at all, and it really takes at least four to see fast results.
Avatar n tn The problem is that now many joints are hurting. My knuckles (on fingers not on hands), my elbows and both of my knees are hurting. It's been going on for about a 3 days. My elbows just started hurting then. I have a family history of RA. My doctor told me that the knee he looked at was for sure Osteoarthritis. Can this cause my symptoms? Can multiple joints hurt bilaterally with this for of arthritis? As far as I know my joints are not swollen much at all.

Avatar f tn I'm 34 weeks today, and since yesterday my bones have been hurting really bad! Especially on my knees, joints and wrists. Is anybody else experiencing this? What have you done for relief? I'm currently taking my vitamins and iron pills due to me being severely anemic, I also read on my tums bottle that they are good calcium supplements so I'm taking 2 of those daily. I've been drinking lots of milk as well.

After 2 weeks of this I went to a Dr. who said that it might be a viral thing? The pain did get alittle better , but when I sit for just a short while, when I walk my upper leg joints and knees still hurt badly.....
Avatar f tn I get pain in my hip and lower back on from sleeping on my side. Your joints and ligaments are loosened up during pregnancy. Wedging a pillow behind my butt/lower back to lean on help me. I can't sleep all the way on my side.

Avatar n tn It started with my hip and now after three years all my joints hurt especially when i do a workout or walk. (they crack more and more, and louder and louder) They don't hurt in the morning, and it hurts only the joints i use the most ( for example now my hip joints, my knees hurt and my ankles...they feel like tingeling ) I had all the blood test done for arthritis and mri's and x ray scans, everything looks normal to the doctors ( i went to like 6 different immunology doctors ).
Avatar f tn Yup, it's completely fine to jog. My doctor told me to stay as active as possible because in her words "you wouldn't run a marathon without working out first, right?" That's what she compares labor to the extent of running a marathon. Just make sure to stay hydrated.

Avatar f tn the best way to describe it is that imagine your vein in your arm was hurting. All my joints are stiff and pop ( all of them) and my knees grind like they need oil. I used to nearly pass out from standing up slow or fast it did not matter. It is just when I stand and put my hands above my head in prayer style and lean my head back. That is a yoga move going from downward dog to the warrior stance. I have a heart murmur I was born with it.

I also have a Thyroid problem so my guess is our thyroid must have something to do with it, I'm just wondering how to fix the problem. Avatar f tn My hip has been hurting for the last 3 days. The pain is from my right hip mostly then radiates to the mid area of my buttcheek. The same thing happens to my left but not so often. I've asked my manager and she says that it's normal and I've also asked the nurse who thought it was back pain. She said that I may need to add more to my workout but the pain gets so much when I walk that I end up limping.

I was 249 when I delivered and now I'm 175lbs and I have been trying to get the rest of the weight off. I am wanting to lose another 40lbs and nothing seems to work. I thought it might have something to do with having my gallbladder removed three years ago.

I am so tired of hurting all the time, and the medicine does not help. Is there anything else that could cause all of this unexplained pain and inflammation? Avatar f tn hi...yes i get itchy joints on my fingers and toes. It drives me absolutely crazy. I scratch until i get blisters and then scratch the blisters. It takes me several days for them to calm down when i get a bout. I'm not sure what causes them, perhaps something i ate? If you find out what helps, let me know, thanks. I don't an have autoimmune disease, but do have fibromyalgia.
