Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. (Yea, I've let myself go that bad.

Add dry milk to oatmeal, mashed potatoes, gravies, creamed vegetables, and creamed soups (add additional protein sources to soups such as meat). Use all fat dairy products and no low fat foods so he has the calories he needs. Remember to relax at meals and just give him the foods he wants.
Avatar m tn Hi, whey protein is just dried milk without the calcium caseinate, lactose, and fat... plain and simple. It's best to use whey protein only for pre-and-post workout nutrition. You're really better off getting the rest of your protein from real food. Drink it 30-45 minutes before working out. For post-workout nutrition it gets a little trickier because the mixture depends on your goals. The post-workout shake is made from skim milk, whey protein.

Avatar f tn Portion control is important and here some general tips for per portion and total servings per day = ½ cup for all starches (8-10 servings a day) and vegetables (2-3 servings a day); one piece of fruit or ½ cup of small fruits (3-4 servings a day); 1 cup for low fat dairy product (3-4 servings a day), and 3-4oz of low fat meat a meal (12ozs total a day). Remember to drink plenty of fluids daily and take your prenatal vitamin pills.

My body frame is pear shaped,my weight goes directly to my hips and rump ! Could you give me some healthy eating tips ,I'm also interested in eating clean, and some additional exercises if possible.
Avatar f tn Walk after every meal , squats , lift 5 pound weights (no more than that) its easier said than done..........I tried to stay in shape I failed lol I have been extremely tired and craving sweets like crazy!

I am a nursing student, who has learned a lot about nutrition and things, and it doesnt seem healthy to me. I have access to many journal databases online, and ahve tried to look up many of the things he has tried, such as GH inhancers and amino acids, trying to find out if it's safe and works, or if it is a waste of money. Avatar n tn Had Double masc, and on Aug 21st silicone implants. Feeling much better than the expanders but still am a litle sore and feel tingling. My left arm takes a long time to untighten lets say and is not 100% (had a lymph node removed./cancer on the left). My Dr. said like a guitar string pull and he was right. I had been working out alot ureing the expander stage but uneasy about how to get back to the swing of things.
