Common Questions and Answers about Workout routines in the park

Avatar n tn For the last 2 months I have had a feeling of pressure on the top of my head (the only way I could describe it was by saying that it felt like I have bricks on the top of my head which were pushing down and crunching all the bones in my neck together), plus this weird feeling of pain / pressure behind my nose.
Avatar f tn Workout that focuses on the core muscles will help. However, you should clear with your OB Gyne if you can start doing intense core exercises. If not yet allowed, stick to brisk walking and and mopping the floor manually using your legs to tighten stomach and leg muscles. Shift to intense workout when it's already safe. Google for more info.
Avatar n tn I'm 28 now) - I went on Zoloft in December of 2003 and switched to Lexapro sometime in 2004. I've had the weight gain. When I started Zoloft in December of 2003, I was around 205. I immediately dropped about 10 pounds. But, then it slowly started creaping back, even after switching to Lexapro. I've had moderate success with losing a few pounds; however, I'm ravenous for food a lot of the time and have uncontrollable cravings. Not cravings for sex, mind you, just cravings for food.
Avatar n tn I try coughing or drinking but the throat noise does not go away or even change it. I can tell it is not in my lungs, but in my throat. I can breathe shallow and minimize the noise but I feel out of breath then. My daughters say this wheeze is not my snore. They say I wheeze before the snore on intake and then exhale. I hear the noise during the day but I really have to listen to hear it as there is always too much back ground noise.
Avatar f tn The cold dry air helps to keep inflammation down I think for me. I do try to sneak in a higher impact workout. I usually regret it the next day, but it feels good when I'm doing it. I miss weight lifting. I'm doing a light Pilates tape, it helps to keep me limber.
544292 tn?1268886268 Hi! Welcome to Part 11! There's a huge number of posts on Tramadol recovery here. Please come in and make yourself Comfy!
Avatar f tn I wouldn't want to make mine match my doctor's because theirs is about 5 pounds more than mine, but then my weight fluctuates a lot in a short time so I don't think I'd really be able to do a comparison unless I took my scale to the doctor's with me. Also, I usually go to the doctor's in the afternoon, after I've retained fluid all day. Anyway, hang in there - you'll get the scale moving again.

Avatar m tn I'm 60, and hike at a very fast pace up and down 6 miles of hills every day due to their guidance. Friends my age won't even park at the mall unless they can get a close parking place. Get moving and eat healthy and less, and you will not have any fat, and lessen your chances for serious health issues.
572651 tn?1531002957 This is our weekly roundup of events that you want us to be aware are happening this week. Doctors? Walks in the park? Grooming for the dog or you? In other words, anythig goes. So what are you doing this week?
Avatar n tn You tell him/her your goals and he/she will build a workout routine around everything you have in mind. He/she will workout with you, show you the correct way to do each exercise, push you when you feel you can't go any farther, and just be the support you need when you just don't want to do it. It sounds like you may just need to focus on toning your body and the fat will disappear because you have your diet under control.
729886 tn?1232666481 Welcome!! Do you keep a food journal and record what you eat to see how many calories you are eating - looks like you might not be getting enough of the right kind of calories. Your menu looks a little lax as far as fruits and veggies, too. Also make sure you get all the food groups. You need whole grains, lean proteins, low fat dairy, etc. Make sure you get plenty of protein and fiber - they keep you feeling fuller longer. I'd recommend that you record your food intake into a journal.
1323357 tn?1274826939 The fact that there seemed to be no cause whatsoever can make the condition all the more frightening; it's as if something has gone wrong in the person?s brain for absolutely no reason at all. But things are not always what they seem. There are a HUGE number of elements that, when combined, can cause a person to experience an episode of DP. For example, your work might be a little stressful. You might be drinking some caffeine and soft drinks etc.
Avatar n tn from my temple I continued the rest of my workout (30min) then went home. The dizziness subsided in about 24-36 hours. The pain I treated with Aleve every 8-10 hours. It was NOT a huge amount of pain, but it was constant, and when I touched my head I could feel 'something' just under my scalp, and it hurt in 1 specific location when i pushed on it. I worked out light the next day, and the headache did not increase in intensity, and I relaxed over the weekend.
519226 tn?1378994921 It's like walking on eggshells all the time. You never know when the venom is coming. She talks about people in a nasty manner. She lies and when you call her on it, she denies it. She starts trouble with me and my siblings. My brother hasn't had anything to do with her in the last several years. No one wants to be around her because she is so nasty. She always has to put people down, and it seems she is extremely jealous of me.
Avatar n tn Hi, Just wanted to chime in about the costachondritis. I've had it for about 10 years and made several trips to the ER thinking it was my heart. It is such a nuisance and pain, literally! Mine feels like a horrible cramp right in the middle of my chest where your ribs meet the sternum and is worse if I move or twist my body, especially if I squeeze my shoulder blades back. Stress and lack of good sleep makes mine 10 times worse too.
Avatar n tn the next morning I felt tired and heavy, slightly sick in the stomach as well as bloated. The thing the thing that help the most was drinking at leat 2.5 liters of water a day. For a while it was an unhappy cycle. I would drink water all day, feel better, exercise, feel worse, drink water.... Now I am over it. I did some reading about toxins in the body and found out that fat may also be a mix of cellular waste, water, unprocessed hormones and other nasty stuff.
Avatar n tn The blood test is for female hormones. This will show if you are entering a perimenopausal state. That is a pre-menopause that shows some body changing and hormones are now reduced. Based on the findings, the doctor (see and OBGYN)can tell you what to expect and suggest changes in lifestyle and diet that can help you along. If you are entering menopause, there is a possiblity you won't lose the extra weight and may have to learn to "live with it".
Avatar n tn 100% occlusion of the anterior descending artery with collaterals from the left and right. 25% stenosis in mid circumflex 25% stenosis in distal right coronary artery Conclusions: Single vessel coronary artery disease. Grade II left ventricular function with anterolateral apical wall hypokinesis. I have been told to go home for 2 months and that, if I experience angina during routine activities, bypass surgery may be my solution.

Avatar f tn I am a 27 year old female; I am in a pretty good shape. I exercise regularly and for the last 3 months I have been running 3 to 5 times a week for 2 miles. My problem is that sometimes I would get very severe LOW abdominal pain when running. Sometimes is on the right side, sometimes is on the left side. It does not happen all the time, though. I worm up and increase my speed gradually. I am not sure if I should I see a doctor about that. If anyone has had anything similar, please share.
299260 tn?1304219705 ) I'm glad you're getting to start your Lupron today. One step closer! I don't know if we'll see Chester in the park again. If we do, I'll find out how he did on his test. I can't imagine he wouldn't pass it. Leighanne: I'm with you. I loved step class! I could learn the routines & do well, but dancing is a totally different story! :) Stacey: Happy 14 weeks!!! :) I'm glad to hear you're doing better. I'm sure bed rest is tough, but so very worth it!

Avatar f tn I take my 4 year old to the park down the street almost everyday in the summer!! Goodluck everyone I wish for the best for us all!!! ( also I use to drink mountain dew daily... and drinking just 1 can a day for a year can make you gain 10 lbs (or more) so cut back on the soda... Avatar n tn SRO, I to will be following the Simeons protocol. I have it printed out and will follow to the letter. The eating to capacity was noted to delay the weight loss by a week or so in the documentation. I'll have to force myself to "put on the feed bag" in the begining. The possibility of rapid weight gain if you stray from the protcol while taking the injections is enough to keep me on track. So I will be at 500 or less a day. Keep me posted . My HCG has been shipped. Waiting to begin.
Avatar n tn By no means do I beat my child/children, but what exactly do you suggest, especially if you have a rotten kid, like some parents do, shall parents utilize in disiplining the child??? Are you a fan of spoil the child, spare the rod? Sometimes rational people need to correct things and if this is the way that the problem is handled best, then so be it. I have met plenty of parents that do not disipline there children and they constantly have problems with them.
Avatar n tn I don't find sleeping in a chair comfortable enough to start the night in the chair. - In terms of treatment, I've seen two orthopedic surgeons, two chiropractors, PT clinic, exercise physiologists. I get a lot of assumptions that I'm talking about a lower back problem/sciatica which is complete wrong. I did have sciatica which a little bit of PT cleared up. - I've been on NSAIDs (ibuprofen and naproxen), muscle relaxers, antibiotics, neurontin, percocet, vicodin.
Avatar f tn It doesn't seem to be like its stemming from a dream or a nightmare, i just open my eyes at night and see these, things in the room with me. People in the corner, maggots, snakes, spiders, mice in the bed, even the ceiling caving in. It's really getting old. When I was single, it was just kind of funny. But now that I'm married, its awful. I try to pull my wife out of the bed to save her or cover her face with the pillow so the animals don't get her.
Avatar f tn If you couldnt sleep all night or slept very little due to the POTS, you may happen to have very fast heartbeat when you are done with the sleep in the morning. Check your blood pressure when you wake up or when you are done sleeping. It will definitely show up very high. The minimum may be above 100,110,120 or whatever. Dont panic. Dont take blood pressure pills just sit up and wait for five minutes.
Avatar n tn i take 200mg a day.100 in am and 100 in pm.with the weight your catching up fast!are you the one that does the tredmill? reading the diffrent topamax forums.good luck!!!
