Avatar n tn Two months ago, however, I completely tore my distal biceps tendon at my left elbow while improperly lifting some drywall at my construction job. At the time I didn't realize the extent of the injury. I iced it, rested it, and after a few days gradually began using my left arm again. A few later a friend encouraged me to see an orthopoedic surgeon. He recommended an MRI. The MRI showed a complete tear. I decided to have surgery to repair the tear.
Avatar f tn When vacuuming do lunges and hold in your stomach. When hanging out washing strenghten arms by focusing on biceps and moving slowly. Try and focus on core muscles when making beds and cleaning the bathroom. Dont forget to put bub in a stroller and go for an afternoon walk. If your not feeling energetic (lets face it. Babies take it out of you) these little trick will help.
Avatar f tn Drink lots of water throughout the day, even during workout. Breath! Dont hold your breath during strenuous routines. You can also try a creatine & protein post workout drink to help you along the way.

Avatar m tn Does anyone know what the one best workout or workouts I can do for my chest, arms to grow an inch or 2
Avatar m tn I am doing all body muscles workouts at home (sometimes intense workout) including abdominal workouts. I want to start swimming for a while and i want to know what are the benefits of swimming, and what will my muscles and abs benefit from it.
Avatar f tn Train your biceps, triceps and shoulders in a separate workout once per week to build muscle in the arms. Include curls and rope curls for biceps, triceps overhead press, triceps dips and triceps kickbacks for triceps and front raises, rear flys and lateral raises for shoulders. Perform each exercise for three sets of 15 repetitions. Perform 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise five days per week to burn off fat.
Avatar n tn Although I do notice tremor increases and legs feel weaker after working out, and after playing basketball, generally fasciculations increase post workout. Weaker legs seem to increase with longer sitting periods and increased stress. My bench has gone down (215 to 175) but I also have not worked out as much. Other weight barometers are normal. (Bicep curl, Tricep, ie. Muscle tone seems normal) Weight is normal, has not changed. Eating has not changed.
Avatar m tn Keep your hands closer together to work the triceps and shoulder muscles. Widen your hands to work the chest. Perform pullups to build the back, forearms and biceps muscles. Use full range of motion on this exercise to increase the amount of muscle being recruited. Start with your arms all the way down until they are fully extended, then pull up. When you have mastered the pullup for 10 total repetitions, pause at the top of the bar for three to five seconds.
172023 tn?1334675884 I plan my weeks menu on a Sunday - and then just plan to do my 10,000 steps a day - yesterday I made myself an abdominal and biceps exercise plan for alternate days starting Monday....
11079760 tn?1483389730 Anyways, I did some deep stretching yoga poses (cat-cow, child's pose w/threading the needle, warrior I, warrior II and goddess pose), some core exercises, 3 easy sets of biceps, triceps and deltoid work (not strenuous - light weights just to see how my hands would manage the weights), and some good calf/shin stretches to end it up. My core heated up quickly, but I wasn't out of breath or sweaty, so I feel like I was taking it nice & easy. The entire routine was only about 30-40 minutes.
Avatar n tn Whenever im pushing myself during working out, whether its a set of push ups or lifting weights at the end of the set when im really pushing like when my face will get red, i will get a pretty bad headache pretty much forcing me to discontinue the workout. Just has started happening the last week, but it always seems to happen. Do I have a brain tumor or something, whats wrong?
98010 tn?1305903335 I drink water as usual. I think this weight loss program is wrong for me. Probably the workout is harder than I need because I feel tired. And because I am tired my body feels stress, so it slows down my metabolism. I also feel bad about the eating, because yesterday evening when I passed by hot sweet corn, I felt so hungry, that i needed all my will power not to buy it and swallow at once.
Avatar n tn The blood test is for female hormones. This will show if you are entering a perimenopausal state. That is a pre-menopause that shows some body changing and hormones are now reduced. Based on the findings, the doctor (see and OBGYN)can tell you what to expect and suggest changes in lifestyle and diet that can help you along. If you are entering menopause, there is a possiblity you won't lose the extra weight and may have to learn to "live with it".
Avatar f tn I do have some minor issues with the neck area in the spine but in very good shape except for this. I walk and workout several times a week. Please post your results.....Thanks !
1042670 tn?1253372663 If I'd stop working out for a long time like when I fell sick and was down for almost a year, when I started back to workout the sound of my heart was back in my head. The twitches and stuff still happen though so I'm thinking the heartbeat thing may not necessarily related to the twitches? I dunno. I worked out yesterday and saw my chest literally JUMPING with my heartbeat. My neck too, today my abdomen, this is driving me insane. The internal quakes are THE worst.
Avatar n tn I had a nerve study and I have issues with my deltoids and biceps all the nerves are good. I am also having a few random muscle spasms all over my body (these are minor to me). I do not show to have any pressure on my spinal cord like I did before surgery in 2006, but I am concerned about what is happening now. They said that I might have screw loosening but if I am fused that should not be important, right? Having and MRI on the 20th. Ugghh!
