Avatar f tn I really feel motivated to exercise and workout the muscles that haven't been used in probably 8 years. lol! Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. (Yea, I've let myself go that bad.

Avatar f tn im getting a one year membership for the gym next week but I have no idea where to start! I'm quite fit already from sport but I've never gone to the gym.. Any tips ? Please ?
Avatar f tn I workout everyday with a pregnancy pilates video. I did pilates everyday before becoming pregnant. It Keeps you toned and prepares you for delivery.
Avatar f tn Okay so I can't go to the gym. I get really bad anxiety, like I'll go to walk through the door and start crying. I've always been this way. I walk an hour a day but I'm trying to get in shape and loose 10lbs for vacation in August.
1279364 tn?1280682588 I have to ask! Is the Shake Weight a viable piece of workout equipment for your upper body? I know it is for your stomach since you will be laughing so hard. =D But other than the laughs, which are good for your health, is it worth $20 & 6 minutes a day? PS - I don't think I could ever use this in front of the kids. Know what I mean?
Avatar n tn I had a roommate who used one of these in bad weather, and Gym is right, it's much easier to maintain and use than exercise equipment. I like the home exercise equipment, but as i said, it always turns out to need a lot of maintenance even when new.
Avatar f tn I'm not a doctor but I would think that's fine! Probably healthy for the baby. I need to exercise more too, but don't have a gym membership and no equipment at home :/ I wish I had something to workout with at home.
Avatar f tn Substituting your regular workout with a lighter day of walking can also provide the rest and recovery needed within a workout routine. The only equipment required is a comfortable pair of shoes. Even if you don’t have access to a treadmill, you can walk outdoors. Running is the most common form of exercise for children and adults. Many people choose to run outside but treadmills can offer a reasonable alternative when the weather is bad.
Avatar f tn Getting through that frame of mind is really difficult. You could try keeping a workout journal or putting up post its to remind you of the buzz you get after exercise or the achievements you've made. Likewise you can make plans to exercise with a friend at least once a week, even just a walk. The socialising will boost your mood as well as the exercise and it's a good way to prevent any unmotivated changes in plans because of the expectation to meet up.
Avatar f tn I have no plans, i'm more of a wing it kind of person...as for decor...HAH you should my house...
Avatar n tn Had Double masc, and on Aug 21st silicone implants. Feeling much better than the expanders but still am a litle sore and feel tingling. My left arm takes a long time to untighten lets say and is not 100% (had a lymph node removed./cancer on the left). My Dr. said like a guitar string pull and he was right. I had been working out alot ureing the expander stage but uneasy about how to get back to the swing of things.
649848 tn?1534633700 Just a hint about being tired and still getting your workout in.... will you have time to get the workout out of the way early in the morning before work? That works for a lot of people. You do it first while you still have the energy.... For me, regardless of the time of day and what my schedule has in store for me, the hardest part of my workout is getting to the gym. After I am there, its no sweat! Good luck and stay at it!
1446815 tn?1284581943 Thank you, I believe this is my answer and hopefully the endodontist will be able to soften the blow, if you know what I mean.
2217782 tn?1394363972 Have you thought about working out instead of dieting? I know that weight loss plans usually include both, but because you have an ED, maybe simply adding a workout regimen would be healthier. I usually do five days a week, three days cardio (45-50 minutes a day) and two days strength training (varies, 30-45 minutes a session). Just make sure you don't start eating more than you currently do when you start working out.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising a lot for the past year.My friend does the same workout as I do, but her body shows a lot more changes than mine.. Am I doing something wrong?
Avatar f tn m going tonight to pick it up and hopes for Staurday to be my first workout! I chose a gym that is close to my trainstation that I get out of from work (so I would be more inclined into going after work) and also this gym is good because it's well over 20 blocks from house. I plan to walk going and coming home so that will burn more calories too! I'm so excited!!!!
Avatar f tn Anymore than that and will come right back. By July you could lose about 30 pounds if you eat right and maintain a healthy workout plan, but any more than that and you will gain it back very quickly. I've always found by obsessing over the number on the scale does no good. It's about feeling good and being healthy.
Avatar f tn I do but the only things I use are the treadmill and the elliptical. A lot of the equipment is off limits while pregnant so be sure to talk to your dr before trying something new.
