293845 tn?1227997530 I know I'm responding to an old thread, but; My wife started doing the "shimmy" workout. It's on FIT TV. Wow, sexy! It's all belly dancing and I'm just hypnotized when I watch her do it. I'm sure you can find some DVD's or something else with belly dancing workout. but that one is already on TV if you have the channel.
Avatar f tn I get YouTube on my tv so that's my go to.
Avatar m tn I can watch those its the o ones I hate to watch when withdrawin.... I dealt with dts from some binges on alcohol I wnet on and I can't tolerate any alcohol at all in my body anymore it gets me sick as soon as I drink and then I have to wake up with the shakes looking for more soI can just stay abstinent from that. Its like alcohol wont allow me to drink that long before my body starts to reject it very fast. Strange huh??
193609 tn?1292180293 All the cardio machines have a 13 inch TV on them, and have the Dish Network! I love working out there and their weight machines are great! I also just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! that 30 minute video will kick your butt!! I recommend that to anyone that gets bored after a while...this video is short and to the point!!!
Avatar n tn if you have a smart tv or hdmi cord, hook up your tv and watch some very helpful workout videos from shamaroo, you can burn up to 200 calories and it only 20-30 minutes. I work two jobs and go to school so it helps me a lot and it's convenient.
Avatar f tn As for me I took a wonderful hot shower, sat in the lounge, watched TV and tried to style my new hair cut. That was enough workout for me. I had a good time, and I really needed it. One of these days I may even attempt a more traditional workout.
Avatar f tn Bounce on an exercise ball. I would sit on it while watching tv instead of the couch. I really think it helped.
Avatar f tn And they have the FULL workout (38 minutes) right on youtube....For free! I have a laptop so i can put it on a shelf on my entertainment center in the living room and Poof! Instant private aerobic dance class. Plus you don't have to buy tons of dvds.

Avatar f tn Agreed. Squats. There are many different types of squats too. Some more effective than others. Sumo squats are my favorite. Get on YouTube and look up fitness blenders butt & thigh workout. They're phenomenal.
Avatar n tn Add cardio to your workout. Walk fast, jog, get on a bike, anything to get your heart rate up. Cardio burns fat, it will kick start your metabolism and get it going. Do at least 30 minutes of it most days of the week. Lift weights when you are watching TV, walk around the block 3 times a day, do squats when you brush your teeth, just keep moving.

But if the tv stays on and he has something to watch, he'll be cool and collect. Plus babies just like noise and lights a lot, it keeps them entertained.

Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

3113201 tn?1341780938 ve tried everything. Supplements I hear about on TV and from doctors, crazy diets, different workout regimens... I don't know what to do. I can't run/jog for long distances because I have severe kyphoscoliosis, two abnormal curvatures to my spine that articulate my rib cage in such an odd position it restricts breathing and lung capacity. My deep breaths are barely stronger than a normal person's regular breath. Thus, cardio is hard for me.
Avatar f tn Keep in mind that you are still developing and despite what your doctor says you can still grow. A female does not stop growing until age 19. You have a good five years to increase your height. I started my growth spurt at a young age too and I was 4' 10" at age 14. I was also told by my doctor that I would not grow anymore. By age 20 I was 5' 3". I proved him wrong. Everybody's body is different.
