I have access to many journal databases online, and ahve tried to look up many of the things he has tried, such as GH inhancers and amino acids, trying to find out if it's safe and works, or if it is a waste of money. Today he bought something called NO Shotgun. Mainly it seems to be Branch-chained amino acids, which I have found mixed reviews.

Is its my cortistol thats totally wacked out? Even if dont even lift weights and only do 30-50 push ups of light work for 15 min in the morning, STILL my body wont fall asleep until early in the morning next day, leaving me totally destroyed by sleep deprivation.

I workout every day. I keep a food journal…and VERY rarely do I ever come close to my researched daily caloric intake for maintenance. I am usually FAR below (suggested 1900 or so and I usually stay in the 1200-1500 range for caloric intake). Yet, I continue to gain weight.
Avatar f tn If you have an iPhone, look up the 7 minute workout app (it's free). It's basically 12 high intensity exercises, 30 seconds each with 10 second rest periods in-between. Like you, I'm close to plus size and and just started this ap about a week ago. It kicked my butt the first few days but it's getting easier and you can modify it (I do girl push-ups instead of regular push-ups).

You could try keeping a workout journal or putting up post its to remind you of the buzz you get after exercise or the achievements you've made. Likewise you can make plans to exercise with a friend at least once a week, even just a walk. The socialising will boost your mood as well as the exercise and it's a good way to prevent any unmotivated changes in plans because of the expectation to meet up.

There's an exercise tracker here on MedHelp that's wonderful for letting you keep track of the exercise you get. By tracking your intake and expenditure, you will be able to find out if they are balanced out. In order to lose weight, you have to expend less than you intake.
