Avatar f tn Many gyms have a wide selection of group classes that include yoga, aerobics, step aerobics and dance-style workouts such as Zumba. Joining a class for beginners can help if you feel unsure of how to proceed with your workout. Remember, you're likely not the only gym newbie in the class. As you exercise in a class, you might feel more confident and even find a future workout partner. Check the area of the gym that features a number of cardio machines.

Avatar m tn When you get an antifungal cream, make sure you follow the instructions and apply it thinly. Antifungal creams are not the same as cortisone creams. You can also get yogurt drinks that contain the good bacteria and capsules that contain the good bacteria, but these take a while to get into the system. Make sure too that you drink plenty of water 2-3 litres throughout the day is recommended, but more if you sweat or workout.

Avatar m tn I am wanting to do pre workout meals which dictate a meal 1hr before workout. Well trouble is I can only workout in the mornings. Is it possilbe to take the meds at a different time?
Avatar n tn Check with your doctor for post-op instructions. There are a lot of factors that will determine recovery time such as how physically fit you are before surgery, any complications, and any other medical conditions you may have. You'll need at least two weeks and even then you shouldn't go full-bore back into your full pre-op activities if you're typically very physically active.
1838380 tn?1329874153 s no way I could have gone back to work the next day (I had too much cramping) so I rested 2 days afterwards and then went back to work. He said to rest for 2 days after the ET and I followed those instructions. This last time though, I actually went back to usual life and even exercised (whereas I took it REALLY easy during the first two cycles). This last time was the one that worked, so who know's.
1116530 tn?1324913147 She said walking is fine, but you just need to keep your heart rate below 140. You might want to get a heart rate monitor to wear while you workout. I have a friend who worked out her whole pregnancy, but I think it's up to the individual and their doctor. Good luck!
Avatar m tn I added a stretch in my PT to help with that and it faded. After PT I decided I was going to workout and loose the weight I had gained while waiting for surgery to be approved. (6 Months not working) I started My workouts and lost 40 lbs in 2 months by eating better and my exercises 3 times a week. There was no problem with pain. After I backed off the workouts for a week or two the pain came back with a fury!!

Avatar f tn I'm 36 weeks, 2-3 days (my doctor's office says I'm a day ahead of what my app says) and every so often, I get this feeling in my abdomen as if I have just completed in "Insanity" style ab workout. I've got that burning, tense abdominal muscle sensation. It's hard to describe it's not exactly like contractions, it's more like a constant tense feeling. Has anyone else felt this being in their 3rd trimester?
