Im new to the exercize relm and doing Julian Mcheals workout when im not in the local ymca on the elyptical. I usually take a break during this time (period ) , but i feel lazy not working out. Please give me some ideas if you have some. Oh yea, i dont have any equiptment at home.
Avatar f tn I hit a guy playing football and my arm immediately went numb and limp. When feeling came back I was able to keep playing and I've had good movement and range of motion. It was sore and painful the first day or two but has gotten better. It's been 10 days and I still have pain and discomfort with specific movements. It seems located at the upper arm by the head of the humorous bone.
Avatar f tn baby to workout. Nothing crazy-walk or get a prenatal workout DVD (can find on Amazon). When you have the baby you ONLY loose 15-20 lbs everything after that is Ur weight not baby. But staying healthy when prego will make loosing weight post baby easier. After baby don't do crash diets especially if nursing. It takes time. Eat rt & walk. Wait 6 wks before starting a excersise routine & nursing does help burn calories.
1415174 tn?1453243103 I go 2 days on my own and 2 days with the trainer. I do have some pre-existing conditions with my shoulders. The right shoulder was frozen at one point but it has been fine (normal) for about 5 years except for some crackling noises. Also, I have done repetitive work and played competitive tennis and also violin for years. so those things may contribute to my shoulder problems. I have two ball like things. One in each shoulder. They can get sore or cause pain.

I know it is for your stomach since you will be laughing so hard. =D But other than the laughs, which are good for your health, is it worth $20 & 6 minutes a day? Avatar f tn When I use the full range of motion of my shoulders and upper arms the muscles tighten up and freeze. It takes a few seconds of being stuck for them to move again. It doesn't hurt, doesn't happen after a workout,how fast I move doesn't make a difference.
Avatar n tn Around one year ago I started to experience a slight pain in my shoulders. It would be mildly painful to make some moves, especially when I had to lift some weight. For example, doing shoulder elevations holding some weight, of internally rotating my shoulder. One day, after my triceps workout, the pain increased severely. It would be painful to lift my arms even without any weights. Also, my shoulders would crack and pop when doing internal rotation and elevations.

Avatar n tn Whenever I am working out, after 30 minutes I start smelling a weird odor that kind of smells just like the shampoo, head & shoulders. It feels strong but it goes away after a few hours. I will say that at the same timeI am smelling this, I feel as if my heart rate is accelerating. I am a 34 (almost 35 ) year old female & weigh 145. Do you think this is heart related? One day i then made it worse by rushing my shoulder workout which left my neck feeling tight and swollen. I then felt dizzy and stopped working out. I rested for about a week and now i can't seem to have a proper workout without feeling light headed, tingly face feeling, sinus blocked, ear blocked, face goes a bit numb. I have been working out for 3 years and have never experienced anything like this.

Its completely painless and doesn't really affect me in any way throughout the day other then the fact that i feel the popping. My chest will also make the same popping feeling if i push my chest forward and my shoulders back, stretching my chest. I haven't been to a doctor yet.
Avatar m tn I do not know what I did to cause this soreness. It is similar to the day after soreness caused from a workout, but I have not worked out at all in the past week. My quads and calves are very sore and sore are my hands and forearms. I also have some pain in my shoulders and neck. The pain worsens when I move. The only thing that I have did in the past week was jump over a counter and climb over a dividing wall. Could that be the cause.

I eat only healthy food, and I workout all the time, so why can't I lose any weight? It's like I physically just cannot do it. I didn't gain any muscle, because my clothes don't fit any differently. I jus feel like giving up. I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and I'm only 21. Anyone have any ideas?
