Avatar f tn My HR then REMAINED ELEVATED, at 90% of my MHR for the remainder of my workout, 13 minutes. Now in addition to the jump itself being weird, my legs also actually felt BETTER after a couple minutes at 90% of my MHR, I actually didn't feel like I was working quite as hard. I mean don't get me wrong, it was still hard, but it seemed more tolerable to me. So yeah, there I was at 90% of my MHR for the remaining 13 min of my workout. I completed the 13 min then cooled down for 5 minutes.

After that started regular treadmill workout of walking for 4 minutes at 3.5 and jogging for 1.5 minutes at 4.6 mph (was 4.5 on Monday), I alternate in this fashion until I reach the distance that I have set in mind for myself. This week that is 4.25 miles total. On the sixth run cycle I started to have some pain in the back of my knee...so decided to listen to my body and that was the last run cycle.
