Avatar f tn Hello, I'm concerned that my weight is an issue for my baby. I'm currently over wright by 50 pounds. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I have taken on a healthy diet since I found out that I was pregnant. My concern is my weight. Is it possible for me to lose weight while being pregnant and my baby will be born healthy? Or will everything I eat, no matter how healthy it is, will it turn to fat?

I informed my contacts that I stopped. But some roadblocks just can't be made Those damn pills are everywhere. Just got back from a week long fishing trip. It was great being away from civilization stress And just being able to relax.
Avatar f tn After baby you can loose weight pretty easy. I've been back to prepregnacy weight w/in 4 months. I've nursed my last 2 babies, nursing helps burn calories. However, if nursing U don't want to diet. Don't take any diet pills. Plus when nursing you really do feel hungry. The best thing to do is eat healthy. Protein, veggies & fruit. Workout, but don't over do it. If U workout too much/hard it will effect Ur milk supply as well as dieting or eating less.
Avatar n tn I don't know the exact odds, but they are slim. Fertility begins to decline in our 30's (very gradually) and by 50 it is pretty rare for a women to get pregnant without help. However, it is not impossible, and it can happen. So, as long as she is still ovulating, if you wish to avoid pregnancy, using protection is not a bad idea.

Why I am not losing anymore? This is pissing me off. I eat less than 1800 cal each day. I am a vegetarian. I take multivitamins. No protein supplements till date. Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

Avatar m tn t consider myself fit or anything. But I did start a cardio workout, (60 mins everyday) for the passed 25 days. I also heard that a month of cardio workout can lower someone's Heart rate as much as 20 beeps per minute. So my question is, could it be possible that the workout lower my Heart rate? Thanks all.
Avatar m tn My HR after my intense, but brief 20 min workout was 100 bpm. This was taken a good 20-30 min since I worked out. Seemed high. My normal, resting HR is 50 ish. I never check my HR after my workout but happened to take my BP and on the BP monitor it also reads your HR. Maybe it's always this high after my workouts? How long does it take to get back to your resting HR after a workout? As I type this, it's down to 75. So it seems to be getting there.

For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.

So what kind of prego workouts is safe to do? I am gonna do t25 moderate!! I just love shante and pluss i cant get to the gym till after my hubby is off work. How about sqauts and push ups as well? Only reason i stopped working out is because my mom told me she would be less worried if i did and its safer for baby but i cant stay away .
159619 tn?1707018272 I have been working out daily on a treadmill for 45 - 60 mins and running my heart rate up to approx 85% plus of my max heart rate, around 150-155 bpm. I have been doing this for over a year and lost 60 pounds. My main goal is to be proactive with keeping my heart healthy and loosing a few pounds along the way has been nice as well. My doctor told me this was not necessary and that exercising at this higher than necessary heart rates could cause damage to one's heart.
Avatar f tn Il almost 36 weeks and have been running and lifting heavy. Still bench pressing 80 lbs and lifting 40-50 lbs for other stuff. Just do what you have been used to.. if you used to curl 20 lbs totally go for it...

Avatar f tn Breastfeeding helped me...or you can just eat healthy and drink lots of water no soda .. also after you're healed up wouldn't hurt to workout a little bit.. but don't over work yourself you'll be extremely exhausted with a newborn. Waist cinched are good too.. maybe try the "it works" body wraps..
