221122 tn?1323011265 t been sleeping right, like 3 or 4 hours a night with a short nap in the afternoons. As far as being out of shape, my out of shape is out of shape. Been trying to eat right, exercise more, but when I walk outside and its 105 with the heat index, I run ( ok walk ) back inside and plop down in front of HGTV. Time to break out the old Richard Simmons DVDs maybe?

I take Lipitor and LD aspirin; my cholesterol is under control and at decent levels My blood pressure was borderline high in the past and I have been taking quinapril for a while now. (max dose). My blood pressure was better at ~ 120/90. I also take bupropion xl and was taking olanzipine.

I do taekwondo too, if they ask me to do 10kicks continuesly alternating my legs, feels like im gonna die after i do 10kicks. my husband says i am just out of shape, am i? or is there more to it? Avatar m tn t have an hour in a day to yourself to work out than your out of balance. When you take the time to work out you will have more energy throughout the day and be more productive. And eat healthy as well. If your 30 lbs over weight that is DEAD weight your lugging around all day long and don't have the strenght and endurance to do so on top of that. Take control and do the right thing.

Before pregnancy I did turbo fire which was great but I'm so out of shape now I'd die of I tried it. So what do you suggest to get moving?

I took an hpt just to see what it said and it was neg but the night before I remember drinking a bottle and a half of water so I don't know if that had any affect on the test.

Avatar n tn Cause it sounds like you also may want to take your meds after your workout because they are doing the job of lowering your b/s and when you workout you are also burning off the sugar so you're lowering your b/s levels naturally. My disclaimer: I'm not a Dr, but this is just my opinion.

I was trying to lose fat before. I'm about 25%bf and I'm losing the little definitions I gained because I lack motivation to workout. and being nauseous all the time doesn't help either. I want to keep working thru the pregnancy and be in 'shape' for labor.

Also a lot of people think im not "big " like apparently i should be . Everyones body is different right ? and im a ftm mom some take longer to show right ? i shouldnt be bothered by it if my dr. Tells me our boy is fine and i feel him move everyday.. but it does...

Avatar m tn I recently went outside to do a bunch of yard work (mowing, moving debris) which at my house can be somewhat difficult work because of the terrain. I was out working for about two hours, and when I was finished, I felt like I had a pretty good workout. I felt fine when I stopped. anyway, an hour later my pulse was still about 115. Two hours later, my pulse was still about 115. Three hours later, its about 105. It wasn't until about 5 hours later that my pulse was back to its normal 74.
Avatar m tn To this point almost 2 years with these symptoms and im getting very frustrated as I am trying to get back into shape and any sort of intense workout leaves me very short of breath and constantly hacking up mucus. some days it feels like when I take a breath it just wont stick. 461838 tn?1255790216 Its hard struggling thru this monstrous tx, it consumes so much in terms of physical resources - no way I can do my customary workout (treadmill, mat work and some weights). I have no wind at all because the ribavarin has caused severe anemia, which makes my arms and legs feel like lead weights, and my heart races whenever exert myself at all. So I've not been able to do my usual. One really good thing is swimming.

I think I will keep him focusing on stuff he already is trying to learn; like pushups (he still sticks his butt up in the air). The balloon weights are a good idea if he still wants to join with the weights. I've been looking at some kid work out videos too, something that focuses on the fun aspects of being active.

As you get in better shape, you will notice that your maximal intensity of the workout will become higher and you will get back to your resting heart pace quicker. Over time, your resting heart rate may go down also.

I work out 5-6 days a week. 3 days per week I lift weights and the other 2-3 I do the elliptical, run, or do aerobics classes. Is weight lifting ok as long as Im not lifting too much? Should I just be walking on the treadmill rather than running? I need guidance!
