Avatar f tn Squats squats squats!! They're magic. I do them whenever I can, waiting for water to boil, watching tv, etc. Do them in your spair time and it pays off wonderfully. You could also try kick backs and lunges.

Avatar n tn ve been seeing a trainer and he says the best way to lose body fat is to walk at an incline (like 13) and at a pace of 2.9 he says try to do this 4-5x a week for at least 30 min ( I aim for 45 min) we also do weights 2-3x a week as we'll. and of course we all know watching what we eat which is the hardest for me, I train so hard then come home and eat crap and it pretty much wipes out my entire workout!

Below are a couple of suggestions to aid in that process. You should start by observing what you eat and the size of the portions. Keeping a food diary of everything you consume (food and drinks) for just one week will train you to be mentally aware.

Avatar n tn i also have exercise on demand so i do a different workout everyday so i have yet to get tired of a workout. you need to find something fun that you like doing, otherwise you just wont stick to it. after you get used to exercising it'll become a habit and on days when you miss your workout you'll feel sluggish, at least thats how i feel. good luck!
Avatar n tn Gym -- what do you think about the long-time idea that you alternate cardio days and resistance days instead of doing them, or at least not doing extensive weight training, on cardio days and vice versa? When I was still young and healthy, that was how it was done.

Im going to start walking on my treadmill today idk how long it will last because Im am short of breath doing just regular chores and I get really dizzy :-( Im not complaining just really unhappy I had lost 90 pounds and to see me put weight on hurts.

Avatar n tn You also are perhaps not eating enough fat -- you need healthy fat for your body to properly function. Also, fruit is probably fine in the quantity you're eating it but it is high in sugar. I really don't know why your results have stopped -- it could just be temporary -- but again, if you're working out as hard as it sounds like you are, you're not eating enough protein or healthy fats or vegetables.

Like I said I've been disciplined and going every day, but I'm getting discouraged because I don't see my body changing.. These are ruining my workout for me they may not sound like much but trust me, they suck. Is there anything that could be causing these problems? If so is there anything to do to fix them? I already dont eat 2 hours before a run.
