Avatar f tn Interesting. Yet, I heard it's better to be pear shaped rather than apple shaped in regards to heart disease. So, I guess we have to choose whether we'd rather have a heart attack or lose our memories, lol. Maybe if I lose my memory enough I won't care how I'm shapred!
1280609 tn?1271287626 So this is my third time being sick in about 2 months. First time I got sick it was just a cold that lasted a couple days, then about 2/3 weeks later I get the same thing. A couple nights ago my body started aching and I just thought it was because of this workout that I'm doing because it is pretty intense. So I go to sleep and keep waking up throughout the night and the next morning I have an extremely bad headache, my entire body aches, and I have a cough.

Avatar f tn I workout 3-5 times a week,usually dvds ,Rocking Body by Shaun T,turbo jam or biggest losers walk .if the weather permits I also walk outside. My body frame is pear shaped,my weight goes directly to my hips and rump ! Could you give me some healthy eating tips ,I'm also interested in eating clean, and some additional exercises if possible.

Not even a HB.. WTH! I'm 37 weeks I should at least feel something. ..

So far I have been eating a decent size meal before working out and having a piece of fruit for a snack afterward. About a half hour after my work out my stomach demands food with lots of grumbling.... It's quite annoying! Is this good or not so much? Any advise???

I go too the bathroom about 7 times a day since I started drinking a gallon a day. I just read about water intoxication and am freaking out what are the symtoms?
Avatar f tn Hello, I've been wondering this for awhile. I am a 15 year old girl who has had her period for 3 years now, however, I only get it every 3 to 4 months. I also mainly get most of my calories I've realized from sugary drinks. For my meals during the day: I do not eat breakfast, I only have a cup of tea then I head to school. Then, for lunch, I rarely eat lunch, if I do, it's only a 126 calorie yogurt and a sugary drink that is worth about 140 calories a can I think.
Avatar m tn Have you tried apple cider vinegar and getting on an alkaline diet? If your body is acidic I’ve had this happen to me for long periods of time. Try going a more natural route when possible and remember fruits/veg/salad is more important that greasy junk foods. Also staying hydrated with lemon water and eating nuts to keep healthy skin-friendly oil levels up helps. Hope you are cleared up very soon!
Avatar n tn Hey everyone. I was looking for an ab workout routine on the internet and I came across one of those old 'Eight Minute Abs' videos on Youtube. It was basically just eight minutes of different types of crunches so I figured it was as good a place as any to get started. So, I did the routine and I did, in fact, feel the burn so to speak in my abs. I'm in moderate physical shape and it was a bit difficult getting through the whole eight minutes, so I guess that's a good thing.

Avatar f tn If you are of a normal BMI and have had routine physical examinations and your cholesterol has been normal, it is not very likely you have a heart problem. It is more likely due to anxiety and/or musculoskeletal pain. If you do not know your cholesterol, triglyceride levels, are overweight, are apple-shaped, and don't exercise regularly, you should have a physical exam and report the symptoms.
Avatar m tn I've been taking long daily walks. 2 weeks ago I started feeling slight knee pain at end of walks and noticed a soft lump on the front of my kneecap. A few days later, the lump turned firm. It does not pain me except towards the end of my walks, but the lump has slowly grown larger and is apple shaped. I'm incarcerated so unlikely to get medical care. What can this be and what should I do on my own? Any information appreciated.

I can see my body is being lean and tone, but my weight is going up. What can I do to keep the weight to 115lbs?

Avatar m tn Last two weeks I have noticed a small white patch on the inside of my nasal area. At 1st it felt like a scab and I may have picked at it a time or two. This was before taking a good look at it. It's not pimple shaped but a flat white spot with no pain. I have been using a Q tip and some apple cider vinegar last several days and at times it seems to get smaller then look the same as before. Any clue ?
Avatar n tn Make sure she's getting enough of the right kinds of fiber (apple peel is the wrong kind, for example) and doesn't strain when using the bathroom. She could have an internal hemorrhoid. A doctor would clear this up in case it's something else.

This would be first round of 10 min session. Set speed and incline according to your calibre. Then run/jog for 10 sec and rest for 10sec. Do this for 10min. This would be your round 1.Maximum 3 rounds should be done at a time. Any queries? Free to ask.

Avatar f tn I have had gastroenteritis for years. I also have gastric reflux a lot now that I am almost 90. The fat around my belly / stomach area is terribly uncomfortable. I have spondylitis of the spine so cannot do the exercises I used to lose weight previously. I do not move much and worry the fat if a symptom of some disease. I complained to my doctor about the nuisance of the fat and he said, "If it is fat" and he did not elaborate. Cancer is a horrible thought.
