My BPM when sleeping can get as low as 42 beats a minute and awake and sitting watching tv can get as low as 52-55 on average. I work out a little and do enjoy running, I have had a couple EKG’s done over the years which were normal and even an echo (I was being checked for hyper mobility of the heart) which showed as incredibly well functioning they said.

Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. It's all belly dancing and I'm just hypnotized when I watch her do it. I'm sure you can find some DVD's or something else with belly dancing workout. but that one is already on TV if you have the channel.

Avatar n tn I had a roommate who used one of these in bad weather, and Gym is right, it's much easier to maintain and use than exercise equipment. I like the home exercise equipment, but as i said, it always turns out to need a lot of maintenance even when new.

I know it is for your stomach since you will be laughing so hard. =D But other than the laughs, which are good for your health, is it worth $20 & 6 minutes a day? PS - I don't think I could ever use this in front of the kids. Know what I mean?
Avatar f tn Okay so I can't go to the gym. I get really bad anxiety, like I'll go to walk through the door and start crying. I've always been this way. I walk an hour a day but I'm trying to get in shape and loose 10lbs for vacation in August.
Avatar f tn That would usually mean how vigorous it is as far as cardio workout. Someone who is in shape can exercise vigorously, but somebody who has not been getting any real exercise will need to start out with an easier program. Somebody in between can work out at a moderate pace. Everybody should exercise a minimum of 3 days a week to make any gains at all, and it really takes at least four to see fast results.

We wanted to get a weight set for my teen sons. I took diligence. After a 6 week daily check, I found some an hour away that we could go pick up. I mean, every single morning I looked at the places in our area that sells it. Out of stock. One would come in, I'd try to put it in my cart and it would be gone before I could check out.

594189 tn?1386916607 loll In the meantime, I bought myself an old dresser mirror at a garage sale and hung it on the wall and picked up a couple of aerobic tapes as well. There are 3 ladies who each do a 10 minute workout and it's really quite fun .. and Richard Simmons and I are old friends. Have also tried pilates and Slim in 6 (takes longer than 6 weeks if you're as out of shape as I was when I began) .. and use videos on youtube. All in all, be creative and just move ..
Avatar f tn (Forget to add this--the TV shows work better than movies because most shows are 40-45 minutes, which is about how long your workouts should be. Alias is a great show to workout too, by the way. I had never seen it before but told myself that I could only watch it when I was also working out. Some weeks I even worked out six days a week just to watch a new episode! Good luck finding something that motivating!

Avatar m tn I can watch those its the o ones I hate to watch when withdrawin.... I dealt with dts from some binges on alcohol I wnet on and I can't tolerate any alcohol at all in my body anymore it gets me sick as soon as I drink and then I have to wake up with the shakes looking for more soI can just stay abstinent from that. Its like alcohol wont allow me to drink that long before my body starts to reject it very fast. Strange huh??

I have been ill for over 7 months with nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite etc. He did all kinds of bloodwork. It was only after the Hep C test turned up indeterminate, that I started to think about the snorkelling incident as I can not think of any other way I could have contracted the virus.

I have been to the doctors and seen a 2 cardiologist where I had an ekg, an echo, and wore a holter monitor. Everything came back normal and they said my heart is healthy and that a low resting heart rate is normal for someone like me and that my symptoms could be attributed to college life or the fact that I have anxiety.
Avatar m tn What I meant earlier was on my palms there are pricked/scrapped marks (which I think it is consider a cut?) where tiny specks of blood can be seen. It is the same on the HIV+ guy's palm, which means there might be some bleeding involved. And the blood from his palms might pass to the barbell and then pass to me through the 'cuts' on my palms. My question was: Is there any chance of transmission in this kind of scenario?

193609 tn?1292180293 All the cardio machines have a 13 inch TV on them, and have the Dish Network! I love working out there and their weight machines are great! I also just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! that 30 minute video will kick your butt!! I recommend that to anyone that gets bored after a while...this video is short and to the point!!!

Avatar f tn As for me I took a wonderful hot shower, sat in the lounge, watched TV and tried to style my new hair cut. That was enough workout for me. I had a good time, and I really needed it. One of these days I may even attempt a more traditional workout.
