Saturday we had brunch at the Bon Ton Cafe in Old Colorado City, then drove a short distance to the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, ancient Anasazi dwellings. I'll get around to posting some pictures of some of the highlights of this trip sometime soon. It's funny, I thought of captions to post while I was taking the pictures, lol!

But for some reason when I workout and sweat a lot, this thing becomes huge and very very red. I attached a pic of it after a good 25 mile bike ride today. I would just like to know what it is and what I should do to treat it? I mean I really love to workout and I want to continue, but this is very embarrassing.

We have five "snow angels" waiting for us but we are only putting back two this time. My RE is really optimistic...he did 10 FET last month and 9 resulted in pregnancy...that gives me hope.. The only thing I would do is to test your blood sugar before you workout and if it is anywhere near normal or low, I would just disconnect the pump or lower your basal rate for that hour. Your doctor can give you better guidelines on how to adjsut your insulin when you exercise. I have exercised with my pump and I have never had any problem, other than being in lousy shape. Those pumps are pretty sturdy and stay put pretty well.

Avatar m tn After sitting for about 2 minutes, everything started increasing in brightness, to a point where I could not even look at the rocks because they were completely white and too bright. The same happened with the environment like the sky, trees, etc. Basically, everything was too bright to look at. By this point, I could not talk, move, see, or think really. After staying this way for about 2-3 minutes it started ramping down generally fast and everything went to normal brightness.

And on my hands, sometimes, I have little blisters or cuts (which don't bleed, however); I had large sunburns on by arms (which were partially healed, because the skin was not red anymore and not sore at all). I recently read that gyms were "dirty" places with lots of germs.

Avatar m tn Generally, if you are active now with exercise and not having limiting symptoms of chest pain or shortness of breath I think you should be fine with your move to Colorado. Initially, you may find yourself getting tired or short of breath faster at the higher altitude, but this will improve with time.
