Hi, I recently had a painful extraction, got dry socket - coped with both. Now my wisdom teeth are growing rapidly and causing terrible pain.
But, I do think that one of my small molars which is with filling is sore - does this mean definate root canal?
I had 2 lower wisdom teeth, and one was removed a month ago. Those teeth would ache when I developed sinus pain from allergies. It was a dull ache, and the sinus pain was much worse. Now the side where the tooth was removed is very painful when my sinuses act up. It hurts into the jaw, and I need pain meds. Is this normal?

I've recently been encountering a strong ache or pain in the back of my jaw verbarating all the way up into my ears and behind them. The pain is on and off and usually occurs in the mornings.
Initially I thought it may be from my Headset (as it sits on my ears) but I tested this theory by not wearing it for a few days and the pain still occurs.
Hi, I'mm a 22 year-old male. Around a month ago I had 2 of my wisdom teeth on my right jaw extracted. The very next day I felt my left eye did not work well as usual but I thought it was because of the med my dentist gave me.
A week later, I had this feeling of mucus in my throat and started to feel light-headed and sensation of being off-balance. I looked up and self-diagnosed that it might have been "vertigo dizziness".
Wisdom tooth pain can radiate and cause a lot of problems, especially if they become infected or are impacted.
Fillings can also be sensitive after having them done. Especially ones where a white filling material is used due to the bonding materials used during treatment.
It is reasuring that you Dentist has taken xrays which shows there is no apical infection present or any decay.
If you still have problems I would go back to the Dentist you saw.
Been to every doctor and everything checks out. I have bad teeth. I still have 3 wisdom teeth and I found a website that said that could be my problem. I also have an ache in the area where I have 2 caps on 2 teeth. The ache comes and goes and because the xray can't see through the caps nobody can tell me if anything is going on under them. I had the cold test done and it was not an issue.
I went to the dentist recently and dentist said that I had some decay on my wisdom teeth and that he wanted to pull them to stop infection and spreading he sent me to get an opg xray (I think that's what it's called) and when I went back he told me I had a really bad infection under the tooth in front of my bottom right wisdom tooth and it would need root canal treatment as the infection is really close to the jaw bone...
need to go back to the dentist ... he will be able to make sure all the tooth is out... and that your not having some kind of TMJ problem... or make sure that there is no infection.... there is alot of antibiotics that can be taken with birthcontrol and have no effect on the birth control....
One of my wisdom tooth was pulled out on Tuesday, I felt an ache in the area which I believed was the normal healing process. After researching I am little concern about the side of extraction. The gums in front of the extraction (teeth 18,19, 20) are bleeding when I floss, and when I put pressure on them with my finger. There is also a slight pain as well. Is this normal? Or is this an infection of some sort?
Any good dentist should have been able to pinpoint the problem from the start. Its not that hard to figure that the source is from either 12 or 15, and vitality testing should have done the rest. The idea with the cold test most dentists forget about is lingering. Here is the correct method:
1) Put endo ice on the tooth (anything else is not cold enough to produce diagnostic results)
2) When pt. starts to feel it, pt.
I remember that experience all too well! My wisdom teeth (all 4) were impacted. They would try to break through my gums, leaving me with swollen, aching gums. I would chew gum all the time just to give myself something to do - plus, for some reason, it would take the 'edge' off the pain. I went through that for several months until I had them all out at once. I was 17 and quite relieved.
A little background on my teeth, i obviously with no dental never got my wisdom teeth removed, so they cracked and now there is nothing but the base of the tooth left and the rest of my teeth on the left side of my mouth looks about the same, the teeth on the right side of my mouth arent quite as bad, but they are getting there also.
What do i do and what would be the best route to take seeing how i have no money or insurance?
the bottom wisdom teeth were already out but leaning twards my other teeth causing them to be slightly impacted I suppose but I didnt need an oral surgeon apparently the dentist did the extraction. it took about an hour to do the one that was causing the pain and about 30 min to do the other one. The dentist was wonderful considering my lack of oral care thusfar, I skipped work for a day and went back today, when I got home I was throbbing and It hasnt stopped.
I'm 15 and my bottom wisdom teeth have been trying to come in for over a year now. They keep moving up and down inside my gums, so sometimes I can barely see them, and sometimes my gums are healed over them. They don't usually give me any pain except maybe a scratching feeling right where they're pushing through, but recently the bottom of my mouth has had a dull ache the past few days. It feels like my wisdom teeth are pushing my other teeth a bit.
Ever since then, i have not felt the same. Around the same time, my wisdom teeth started to come in,and the doc said i needed to have them out because the two on the bottom of my mouth are partially erupted and cause infections. I have yet to have them out. I have been suffering health problems that i do not know the answer to ever since these two things happened to me.

Do wisdom teeth effect the inner ear?
I went in and the dentist said I needed my wisdom tooth pulled and two crowns next to each other. After this procedure about four months ago I am still living in pain. I can not bite down on anything on that side of my mouth without pain. If I sneeze and the teeth touch I am in pain, and more often than not I just living on motrin because of constant pain. I have been back to the Dr. and she claims that she can see no reason for the pain.
