okay.. so like 7? months ago my finger started to get a lot of dry skin all over it (my index finger) and it went away. but my finger tip feels like there's super glue on it.. it isnt rough. it doesnt hurt.
it just feels weird? like not all of the feeling is there.. i really don't know what this is but it's really scaring me a lot.. please help-

While doing this, I had my hand in-between by body and the bed. After doing this prior for the previous years and never having any issue, my left index finger knuckle started hurting a lot after I was done. For many days I didn't care but now at this time, it hurts some days and other days it feels off. I am going to the doctor in a month for my annual checkup and am going to mention it but I just wanted to ask here to see if anyone might have any idea what the issue could be.

Actually the finger that was painful the other day is okay. I mentioned that
my index finger was hurting on my left hand to my chiropractor during my
regular biweekly adjustment. She gave me an adjustment on the inside of
my elbow, she said it was connected to my index finger. After the adjustment, my index finger doesn't hurt any more. However, I do have
pain sometimes on several fingers of my right hand, not today though.
I'm considering having sex sometime next year with my boyfriend, how do you have sex? does it hurt, and what kinda pain? also is 15 too young?even if I'm 100% sure I'm happy with it and the boy?
I always do the touch test and wherever i have a random weird pain i take my index finger and press it to the area that is feeling weird and if its an "ouch" moment i know its muscle related because you can;t touch your heart thru your ribs. It could be the way you are sleeping, could be the work that you do each day...i always say when in doubt call the doc.............
A fex months ago a started noticing weakness in my hands at night and when I woke up, then it would go away after a few minutes. Also a tingling sensation in my thumb and index finger. Two weeks ago I started feeling nerve pain all over my body, sometimes in my neck, other time times in my extremities. I have a terrible constant pain in my shoulders and sometimes in my upper back, arms, legs or fingers. Sometimes I also feel tingling in my toes and pain in my knees and elbows.
I have never had herpetic whitlow, but I have had several cold sores lately and am scared that this may be the start of one. My finger does not hurt or tingle though. Does this sound like it may be very early stages of whitlow? I know a million things could be causing this mark, but just wanted to see if whitlow was something I could rule out, or if I should be concerned about it....
I had an infection on my left index finger last week with yellow pus so I used hot water and a wash cloth wrapped it around my finger and put lite pressure on the finger and drained the pus.after that i used typical ointment and bandage until the infections was gone.however its back again ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!! does anyone know why the infection is back AGAIN.
I am a 23 year old female, with reynaud's phenomenon. Usually I suffer from very cold/numb hands, which only swell a little for maybe 10 minutes after they start to heat up. I woke up today with a very swollen index finger. I thought maybe I'd banged it, but now my little finger is swollen, too. They hurt to touch, and my hands are still cold and normal coloured. It's only on one hand - my right. I'm getting worried, now, because this hasn't happened before.
It is still hurting her. Her middle finger to her pinky finger is fine, no swelling there. Her index finger and thumb are extremely swollen. Her fingers are dry and cracking at the joints. Her wrist is swollen and the palm of her hand is the worst part. She has broken blood vessels in every spot that is swelling. No discoloration at all, except the broken blood vessels ofcourse. I have pictures if you need to see them.
(I'm 15 if it matters) I didn't hit my finger or injure it in any way, but it feels broke. I know it's not though because I can bend it. All of this is happening on my left index finger;
-It's hot like when you break a bone.
-I can bend it almost all the way until it starts to hurt too bad and I get a pain in the top knuckle even when I don't bend it, the pain is still there.
I took a puck off of my right index finger and didn't really notice any immediate pain. Over the next couple days I noticed that I couldn't form a fist because my finger was very swollen and hurt to bend that far. Back in March I was holding a little girl that was standing on my lap and she lost her balance and squatted down. My hand was behind her knee and my right index finger popped and then hurt really bad for awhile. I assumed it would go away and it didn't. A few days later I went to urgent care. They took x-rays and saw nothing and told me to take ibuprofen and continue to use it like normal.
My fingers were fine for hours because I washed my hands and pressed on them fine. After a few hours suddenly my index finger tip hurts on that hand and nothing else. The wrist does not hurt. I then remembered what happened at the grocery store and think that might have done something.

TWO MINUTES later, i picked out a hangnail on my thumb, it hurt a lot so I pressed my index finger(the one shake hands with my friend) agaist the wound immediately out of instinct. not until then did i notice there was blood on my index finger and I just wiped that blood onto my fresh wound. the wound is about 1mm*0.5mm, it was bleeding a little, hurt a lot.
but a week and a half ago another one formed on the same finger (my right index finger) just a little below where the other one did... this one did the exact same thing and is now in the process of turning into another scar.
now.. This morning I woke up and realised another one has formed on my left hands index finger...
What is it and what should I do?

my index finger just recently strarted to twitch. it comes and goes..
She was pressing against the protruding end of the wire with her index finger (which was gloved). While removing her finger from my mouth her glove got stuck in the wire edge.
This means that the wire edge had penetrated the glove. I do not know if it had also penetrated her finger or not.
The glove got stuck and slightly came off her hand. She pulled it back and continued with her work.
