7763229 tn?1396626895 lol I know how you feel! I drank ginger ale on a regular basis too before I got pregnant, just b/c it made me feel better no matter what! ...probably a comfort thing from my parents & I have a colon disease so, my tummy is 50/50 most days. anyways! I've probably almost bought ginger ale out of business since I got pregnant, but I'm the same way... I have NOT thrown up, but nausea has been kicking my but since 6 weeks pregnant & I'm now only 9weeks&1day.
172023 tn?1334672284 I frequently look for reasons to avoid intentionally exercising. I have no idea why, because I feel good while exercising, and always feel better and more committed to a healthy lifestyle afterwards. But I'm constantly making excuses for not going to the gym. I know there are many things I can do at home that aren't labeled "exercise", and I do them, but I also enjoy working out at the gym. So why do I avoid it whenever I can?
Avatar f tn Have your doctor check you for whooping cough. If you cough so hard that you throw up, it may be that. If you have GERD or Reflux, you may not necessarily have heartburn or chestpain. Your stomach may secrete extra acid and this will cause symptoms like coughing/choking. If you do have GERD the medicine NEXIUM would help tremdously.
Avatar f tn my cousin was throwing up up until she delivered. have you asked your doctor for nausea pills? try some water with a lemon wedge in there. it helps me.
559862 tn?1311516637 Were any of you ladies working out rigorously prior to becoming pregnant and how long did you continue working out??? I also lift weights about once a week and wondered if anyone on here has had experience with lifting while pregnant. From what I've found (of course always ask your doc) that you can continue lifting just not your max and as you get farther in your pregnancy cut the weight in half?!?! Thanks in advance for any replies! p.s.

9571159 tn?1419571005 Sometimes you just gotta suck it up. I was prescribed w Zofran but only taken it once and sucked it up the rest of pregnancy. That's a part of being pregnant!
11029962 tn?1414696081 I always feel like I'm gonna throw up but I can never throw up what does that mean? I haven't thrown up once since I've been pregnant is that healthy?
Avatar n tn I lost 18lb.s in the beginning. Now, I have no problem eating, and I'm gaining fst all of a sudden, but of course no energy to work off the calories. I walk as much as can, sometimes only frm the bed to the bathroom an back. ladybug, I agree with you, it would be good to be able to do this as a group. Why don't you guys move to Vancouver, it's nice here. Rains alot, but very pretty.
611067 tn?1458591483 probably because you let your anger and feelings out. The people who do not let it out tend to be higher risk - at least that makes sense to me! LOL!!
Avatar m tn All of us have went through harsh times in life - Then again, that's part of growing up.All we have to decide, in those times, is what to do with the time that we are given. I can't tell you 'why', but I can tell 'what' is bestfor you to do. Go see a therapist, and tell him all that you want to tell him. He's not there to judge you, or accuse you of being ridiculous, he's not there to tell you why, instead he's there to help you move on.
Avatar n tn The problem not only lies in bulimia.. but the cause of it. Why do you do it? You have to get down to the reasons why you started in order to stop. If it's a power struggle, a sad attempt to have control over SOMETHING, then let up. Pretty soon, you will lose control all together if you haven't already, and will have major problems getting it back. Let someone know. Get support. Keep yourself busy.
Avatar f tn Why not incorporate some of your favorite foods into some of your menus, so you won't end up binging on them? For instance, if chips are your downfall, why not allow yourself a serving to 2/week, then you won't feel deprived.
Avatar n tn Anything your body is use to you can continue. Don't go from walking to weight lifting or hard core cardio.. But if you are a very active person you can definitely continue those activities. But make sure u mention it to your dr..
10515800 tn?1419227034 Your body will let you know when it's time to start working out again.
4456535 tn?1355894638 How many weeks are you?
Avatar f tn it probably depends a lot on each individuals pre-pregnancy fitness level, and whether you did cardiovascular training before. 140 for me is a light work out level, but sticking to that keeps me from overduing it. You can always see what your Dr recommends.
Avatar f tn Invest in some antacids. Personally Tums do just fine for me (: also laying on your left side!
Avatar f tn If I can get the throw up out I will be fine but nothing will come
Avatar f tn What kind of working out do you do? How old are you? You don't want to work out so much you cause damage. You don't want to run before bed because it stimulates the system and makes it hard to get good sleep. Running eventually will damage you, so you have to decide, are you an athlete and love your exercise enough to possibly stress your body, or are you just someone who exercises for health? A lot goes into exercising, as you can see, and it differs by the person.
Avatar n tn I'm gonna have to work as long as I can cuz I do not get paid time off. But, I don't work so far away from home like you do. I would say see what kind of time off you can get from your job and go from there. Good luck.
Avatar f tn It should be fine, although the first trimester is the most vulnerable in terms of miscarriage and such, so if you have any risk factors you might take it easy. Most docs say that you can do the exercise that you did prior to pregnancy, it's just important to keep dehydrated, make sure that your blood pressure doesn't go to high and that you don't overheat. Exercise is generally good for both the baby and you during pregnancy, just listen to your body and don't overdo it.
