Common Questions and Answers about Why do you throw up after workout

throwing-up

Avatar f tn Every once and a while (maybe once a month, maybe more...) I'll need to throw up the meals I've eaten that day. Its not a nauscious feeling, just something telling me I need to go throw up. Its usually in the afternnon or evening, and it's like I didn't digest anything for the day. ALL of the food I've eatin that day comes out the same way it went in. It's almost never broken down and this is HOURS after I've eaten it.
Avatar f tn how do you keep from throwing up while running. Every time I run really fast or try to push myself while running I feel nauseous and throw up. Please help.
Avatar f tn Did you throw up before or after the workout? Perhaps the peanut granola bar was not the best thing to put in your stomach... a yogurt might have been better.
Avatar f tn my cousin was throwing up up until she delivered. have you asked your doctor for nausea pills? try some water with a lemon wedge in there. it helps me.
Avatar f tn Have you had any past injuries that might cause this? How often are you stretching? Try some good stretching exercises regularly to see if that helps, if not- it sounds like you should get to the doctor to have them take a closer look at what the cause of this might be.
Avatar m tn It is always good to be hydrated before cardio workout, Just keep it to one glass. If you want to maximize your cardio try 1 banana 45 minutes before. This doesn't affect the fat that you are going to burn and will give you the energy you'll need to perfom better. Also try to eat some carbs after, honey, oat etc. This will increase the amount of glycose stored in your liver and give you more endurance the next time you're going to train.

Avatar f tn Playing sports is still possible if you do it outdoors with distancing, which you can do with a lot of forms of exercise. If you like what you're doing, you'll look forward to it and won't want to miss it.
Avatar f tn Have your doctor check you for whooping cough. If you cough so hard that you throw up, it may be that. If you have GERD or Reflux, you may not necessarily have heartburn or chestpain. Your stomach may secrete extra acid and this will cause symptoms like coughing/choking. If you do have GERD the medicine NEXIUM would help tremdously.
Avatar n tn The night before your workout, take 10 minutes to visualize your entire session in your mind. Imagine yourself getting up, working out (really go through the entire workout in your mind) and feeling energized and accomplished afterwards. If you're not having fun and perceive your workout as work, you're more inclined to snack. Try dance classes or pick up a sport you used to love or have always wanted to try.
4456535 tn?1355894638 Is it bad that everytime i eat not too long after i have it come up as if im goin to throw up?
Avatar f tn Whatever the amount you lost x by 500ml. After a workout you need to make sure you do a cool down. To slowly get your heart rate back to normal and then get a high protein post workout snack. Just make sure it's low in fat high in protein and carbs.
Avatar f tn You need to feed your muscles so that is why you get those extra calories. Yes you should eat them. Do not go over them but they are added back into your daily caloric count because you are building a better body!

11029962 tn?1414696081 I always feel like I'm gonna throw up but I can never throw up what does that mean? I haven't thrown up once since I've been pregnant is that healthy?
Avatar m tn You didn't say what your HR was when you were working out, the more important number when you are working out. There is a maximum safe number there. A HR of 100 isn't a high HR even for walking around and is at the upper end of the recommended resting HR. You also didn't say how long after you stopped working out you measured you HR. Two minutes? I'd say you were not just in an intense workout, Ten minutes? sound pretty good to me if you were working in the 160 range.
17239077 tn?1454875124 I also have to say that of course stretching helps you burn calories, and not stretching is never recommended, though some believe in different times to do it -- some believe in doing it before and after a workout, some believe it only before, some in only after, and you probably need more with cardio than with resistance training unless you're old. Warming up is great, but doesn't substitute for stretching, it aids it.
1091003 tn?1257710173 Have you had anxiety in the past? Do you have access to a therapist, so you can talk about why you are feeling the way you do? In my opinion, there is normally something deeper that can cause our panic/anxiety. Keep us posted!
Avatar n tn I wanted to know of anyone goes through this as well. After every workout I spot. Sometimes I get cramps. Most of the time I don't. I hate the spotting but have learned to see it as normal. Is it normal? I'm 22. I would say I'm in good health. I used to jog 4 miles daily. 2 or 4 miles I spot anyway. Does this happen to anyone else?
Avatar m tn Yes I allow them to return to normal activities. For boot camp intensity probably ask them to wait 5-7 days not many of my yag patients are into that severe of exercise.
Avatar f tn t just throw some weights at you and say workout , you need someone to really figure out what your problems are.
Avatar f tn The last thing you want to do when you are exhausted from waking up all the time is exercise, but I was able to commit to that 30 minutes. My first son hated a carrier, hated the stroller, so I had to pack him on my hip or on my shoulder around the neighborhood. Do whatever it takes to get your body moving :) It helps with dealing with all the new challenges that parenting can present.
Avatar m tn For the past few years I have struggled with mild fatigue, which I believe at the time was caused by stress/anxiety I put on myself. However, for the past 5 or 6 months my fatigue has gotten much worse and I am not sure why.
