Im doing everything right so why am i gaining if im taking the meds doing weight watchers drinking plenty of water and walking? its just so frusturating.

Avatar f tn Hello! I am 36yrs old and weigh 265lbs. My doctor put me on a low carb/no sugar diet. Last month, I faithfully exercised doing The Firm DVD's 5 days a week and walking at least 30 min. 5-6 days a week. I also stuck to the eating plan all month, with the exception of 2 days. The scale only moved (up and down) within a 3lb range. I am very discouraged. I've lost weight before using Weight Watchers. I haven't exercised like this in years....

I started out just walking but now i have started riding now. I also do weights a few times a week, 10 lbs weights doing 30 reps at a time upper arms and core. What am I doing wrong?
Avatar n tn (people are saying maybe the weights are gaining muscle) I lose about 400 calories on the Skiing machine machine (to work both arms and lose weight), it says in about 35 minutes. sometimes I lose 500 in 42 minutes. Why am I not losing any weight? In fact I gained 3 lbs. Do I need to cut out weights completely? Do I need to go to the gym 5 days a week and do more cardio? I ate very few carbs for many years. I have just now started eating a few because evreyone says I should.
Avatar n tn I had low normal numbers on tests in past years. I am very frustrated. I have tried weight watchers 2x with little to no weight loss. I recently took adipex and the doctor was shocked at how little weight I lost. I weigh around 200lbs and I am 5'6. I joined a gym three months ago. I work out regular and I eat 1200 calories or less and I still can't lose weight. I am so frustrated I don't know what else to do. My mother has taken synthroid her whole life.
Avatar f tn It depends on what your starting weight is and the way you are losing it. If you have a higher starting weight and you are losing weight because you are eating healthier and exercising than your okay. If your doctor says its okay, you should be fine. Plus you have more than half your pregnancy ahead of you to gain some of that weight back. Don't stress, i am sure you'll be fine.
Dog I have seen a nutritionist and she said that she does not know why I am not losing the weight. she also said that amytriptiline could be a possible cause. For past six weeks I am eating 1600 calories because my foot is hurting and i have got a tear in my hip. this has put an restriction on my activities. also i do not feel hungry but satiated with my food I forgot to mention that my height is 5'8". I am really frustrated with my weight. I never weighted this high.
Avatar n tn I eat better than I ever have, mostly fruits and vegetables, almost no carbs, very few processed foods. I am not burning fat. I am building muscle, (my clothes are actually tighter), but I am not burning the fat. I don't really care what the scale says, but I would like to know why the fat is not going away.
