I am 32 weeks pregnant & I'm experiencing a discharge.. its gross & it has an odor . It's been happening for a couple weeks, I keep telling the doctor about it & they don't seem too concerned. But, I am .. is this normal ? Should I get a second opinion? Please help!
) I think I would only be concerned if something changed a lot, such as a really, really strong odor. Mild odor can just be because of the interaction of sweat or urine and the natural secretions once they are out of the body. Don't go poking things up there on a regular basis, you might add bacteria, but if you are worried about a smell on a particular occasion, AFTER A BATH when the area is really clean, you could put a Q-tip into your vagina and swish it around, then smell it.
my discharge has been mucous-like and white (sometimes clear). at first I was itching like crazy...but now I don't itch much at all.
Sometimes, i have an odor. tried douching with ACV (apple cider vinegar), but that only worked for a day..
i'm thinking it's either a yeast infection or BV (bacterial vaginosis). i haven't had sexual relations in over a month because of this problem.
what could it be?
If its really strong and foul then its a possible infection of some sort. But during pregnancy women do produce a white mild smelling discharge thats very normal. Hi I'm 14 weeks and ive noticed heavy white discharge with small odor like a watery odor ( mainly when I wake up and haven't showered yet) and it's not a strong odor it's minor. But the white discharge is heavy. I had a Pap smear right before I got pregnant and everything was normal, just a bacterial infection that's been treated. And I been with my husband ever since. Well i don't know about a yeast infection but have you ever been tested to HPV or anything?.. i know it can't be a yeast infection cause that's like cottage cheese and it deFFa has a bad sour smell and i have a white milky discharge with very mild odor like you are explaining only it's never yellow and i got checked and im clean so i dunno but don't listen to whoever is telling you it's a yeast infection ..
