So I had unprotected oral sex with another man almost 5 months ago. Six days following exposure, I had a mild sore throat with a little bit of swollen tonsils and inflammation. Then about 4 weeks after, I had some white spots on my tonsils which I poked at and irritated further, causing a painful canker sore on one of them which resolved in a few days. Following all this, the back of my throat and tonsils have continuously been red and inflamed.
Okay, so here's the story. For the past month I've had swollen tonsils with white pieces of mucous or whatever and they tend to break off and they're not that great tasting. I've also had horrible breath and a slight sore throat. So i go to the doctor and he tells me it's strep so he gave me an antibiotic. I've known that it's not strep and the doctor was stupid.
I was asked earlier what the white dicharge coming from a tonsil was.

A few days later she had genital itching and a thick white discharge with no odor. Then even more days later she had a slight fever and back pain. Next day she had left over antibiotic and took them all. The next day went to gyno, no yeast but higher white blood cells and all symptoms gone by next day. Same time I have swollen neck lymph nodes. but anyway. i drunk after someone back in jan an i keep getting white things in my tonsils. they will stay there for a while then go away. then come back, i have no sore throat, just the white things that smell horrible and make my breath smell horrible. is this associated with hiv? and sometimes i have slight itching in the vagina but no discharge or burning. please any advice would help.
On the same day I had gone to gyno, they recommend to go to primary care because I had swollen tonsils with white along with other symptoms. They said it was oral thrush from the antibiotic, I treated it with a liquid oral medication that you take 4x a day for 7 days(the white spots went away). A week later I begin with more symptoms.
Hello, I am 30 and I have noticed a white small solid particle-like discharge from the base corner of my throat usually in the mornings during cold season. It is accompanied by slight sore throat. I rough deep throated a stranger and he ejaculated deep in my mouth near the tonsils. 5 days later, there were white pus on my tonsils and what looks like a small 1mm red dot/tear in the back of my throat. A couple of days later I got a sore throat. I notice my tonsils were swollen and there were some white spots and some white discharge. Since the emergence of the sore throat (3-4 days ago) the soreness has gotten much better, but the white spots and discharge are still there. My questions:

My OB put me on some meds for BV, but as soon as I finished Rx I started to have a thick clear slimy discharge, which has now turned into thing white discharge. Those little white things are coming from your tonsils. Search the web for "tonsil debris" or "tonsil stones". I have seen info regarding these but can't remeber what they are called or what to do about them. Good luck!!

I believe swelling in the tonsils can be related to allergies. Do you notice any connection between the swelling and seasons? If they become a real bother, you should have your ENT look at them just in case they need to be removed.
Today i woke up with a sore throat and white spots only on my tonsils which has happened before as a normal infection throughout my life. I am afraid I got a disease from that oral sex we had. but at the same time i have been exposed to traveling and Air condition which may be the cause of my sore throat.PLEASE help I am so worried and actually afraid.
Is the white on your tonsils blisters or is it debris? If it is debris then you could have craters in your tonsils that are catching food in them and trapping it there. If this is the case, then the condition will only continue to worsen. You will start to taste the drainage and when you clean the craters out it will stink and taste bad. You will have to get the tonsils removed to fix this problem if it is in fact craters in them.
