My 15 year old lab mix is getting thick grey/whit discharge from her eye. I don't see that she's in any pain or discomfort. Would like to know if I should be concerned that it is bothering her and I don't know it.

A visit to the vet is necessary for this. Please don't attempt to medicate the dog's eye yourself at home without obtaining a prescription from the vet, since if there is a scratch on the cornea, if you use an eye medication that contains a steroid, it could cause a serious ulceration on the cornea which could lead to eventual blindness. She did not mate during her heat cycle but is just now starting to produce a small amount of milky yellowish white discharge from her nipples and I was wondering what it could be caused by.

I have been experiencing an oily white discharge from the outside corner of my right eye for the past five or six years. Hi everyone! My unaltered 2yr old male Golden Retriever/Catahoula mix has suddenly lost pigmentation on a spot on his nose. When I first noticed it I thought perhaps it was a scar from roughhousing with his sister, but I'm not totally sure as I don't remember him having that serious of a nose injury. It's not irritated or anything and doesn't seem to bother him.

I have a white discharge comming from my eye for a while now, it is stringy and causes my vison to become cloudy . I can wipe it away and it casues no pain but drives me crazy I have been to the doctors and they tell me to use nose spray and drops but this does not do anything . If its like clear white discharge its normal ! But if its cottage cheese looking & has a odor to it then its possibly a yeast infection. Im not a doctor, but I have a list of what to take while pregnant from my Obgyn & it says To take a monsitat which they sell at Walmart or any pharmacy.

I know this isn't terribly helpful. but you can try one of the allergy treatments on Amazon or through a web search and see how it goes if you can't afford a vet right now. Use something specifically for dogs though.

It reminded me of when you have pink eye and the discharge from your tears stick to your eye lids. I consulted a doctor earlier today and they did a series of tests including a penal swab and blood work. I had sex with an old girlfriend of mine on friday and saturday and started out unprotected and soon put on a condom before we continued further. While bloody discharge is never normal, colored discharge might mean amongst many noncancerous conditions- pregnancy,duct ectasias, fibrocystic disease(especially if there is lump), and Galactorrhea(relating to medicines and hormones). We are in the process of transitioning an autism assistance dog into our family for our DD. He recently started having discharge from his eyes and they looked pretty irritated. I brought him to the vet and they said it was definitely pink eye and gave him some eye ointment. I find it so odd to put ointment in an eye...he doesn't seem to care though. Do you think he'll have allergies like this every year? He is a 2 year old labradoodle.

I was out on a vacation for a week and I left my dog in the care of a family friend. When I returned home, I noticed that my dog is having a discharge from his eye - milky white discharge and his eye was reddish so I went ahead and clean his eye out with a warm wet cloth and then I came home a day later to find him having a greenish discharge (light greenish) from his eye and his other eye is starting to have a discharge as well so I went ahead and clean both of his eyes with wet cloth.

The next day he did not want to eat at all, and started throwing up brownish bile. I also noticed in the morning, his eyes had dried eye discharge on the inner corners of his eyes. He only mention bloodwork casually, as if it was secondary to giving my dog Baytril, etc. injection and Ketofen first, before even performing a thorough diagnoses of my dog's condition/health.

My husband always has a lot of discharge coming from his eyes like yellowish sometimes white. He cleans his eyes but he still always has staff running through his eyes and in the morning is worst. Then he has these white head pimples all appearing constantly on his face and neck which get worst after a prednisone treatment. He has asthma and is always inhaling the pump. He is overweight too, he says he got allergies. I wonder what's wrong with him, he said is for the prednisone.

I think the pain and the eye discharge are connected to each other. The discharge started burning my eye heavily and now I guess thats why I’m experiencing intense pain? Does anyone know what this is?

Hello again. I just wanted to mention that I just tried to move this clump out of my dog's eye and it is quite hard. It isn't softening or moving at all. I think maybe a trip to the vet might be in order?

For the past 3 years, I have had this stringy stuff come out of my eyes. It's not discharge like you would get from pink eye or a cold in the eye. It's just constant, white, sometimes clear string that I pull out of my eyes. Sometimes I can be pulling and I feel it pull from behind my eyeball. My family thinks that I'm weird cause I'm always messing with my eyes. If I put in visene, the sand-like feeling goes away for a minute but always comes right back.

I'm 34 weeks and been getting white discharge a lot in my under wear does anyone else get this? And is it normal... my fiance thinks I'm cheating or something..

Burning is now pretty much limited to morning washroom visits, and morning discharge has gone from being appreciable quantities of a white translulent mucus to smaller quantities of a clear mucus. Daytime discharges haven't been effected as much, and remain being a smaller amount of the same clear mucus. I was told by my doctor that its good to be ejaculating regularly during treatment to purge your system, so I'm doing that too, and you should keep it in mind.
