White discharge during pregnancy in first trimester

Common Questions and Answers about White discharge during pregnancy in first trimester

discharge

Avatar f tn I am 27 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I have experienced fluid dripping during my first trimester for several times. It's like 5-6 drops of white fluid leaking at once. The fluid itself has no smell. I am afraid it may be amniotic fluid. Is it common? What should I do?
Avatar n tn Discharge is very normal in pregnancy, if you notice an odor or itching you need to be tested for a yeast infection or an std. And for future reference, try not to be rude to other girls on this site. It's not your place to judge or comment nasty things because you don't like some ones spelling.
945369 tn?1320829437 definately agree with blugenie, about wearing a pad.another way of using them,is first thing in morning get up have pee.put one in and go back to bed for little while.then at night put one in before bed.that way they can dissolve better inside you, rather than getting up.walking round soon as you have used them.its very normal to have cramping etc in early pregnancy and throughout.good luck to you.
Avatar n tn ) if you notice it mixed with blood or if it is green tinted you need to consult your Dr.
Avatar f tn I had brown and bright red blood off and on during my first trimester. Doctor said I really only should be worried if there is clumps followed by cramping.
Avatar f tn I'm a first time mother to be in in my 1st trimester I'm 7 weeks and I've had this discharge it comes out white clear and dries yellow... is that normal? I've researched and so far it says it is I just wanted to make sure from other mothers if they had it? ?! And lastly today when I wipe down there...a small barely wet light light pink peach looking color comes after I wipe. I noticed it after I made a bowel movement...
Avatar f tn Though i had it @ the begining of my pregnancy except my discharge was white n they found nothing. Was just normal pregnancy discharge.
Avatar f tn This is completely natural during pregnancy and you will have it heavier during first and last trimester, a lot of women just use a panty liner (I did) just to feel a bit cleaner and saves changing your underwear all the time. Clear/white with no smell is fine but any discolour like yellow/orange or green and any bad smell is when you should go to your doctor.
Avatar n tn yes actually its very normal. every woman gets that discharge sometime during pregnancy. some get it early in the first trimester some not until just before they give birth. that discharge is keeping harmful and unwanted things out of your vagina and away from the growing baby.
94902 tn?1330479667 I had similar spotting during my first pregnancy and now have a healthy 7 year old. This time at 6 weeks I haven't had any spotting at all and no nausea so far. I guess it's true what they say that every pregnancy is different. Spotting is normal early on.
Avatar f tn Its white kinda watery @adrii2280. Happens alot when I move around to much or if I have to poo but cant for a few days.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had hyperemsis gravdium before ? If so did it worse in your 3rd trimester ? And I've been having mucusy discharge latetly is that normal ? I'm not sure how the discharge is supposed to be .
6023422 tn?1378419035 how long is it normal to spot during the first trimester of pregnancy? im going on 2 days on and off?
Avatar n tn I'm in my 3rd trimester, 31 weeks and during my pregnancy I've had a lot of discharge, white & or mucus green color sometimes itchy. It has a foul smell too. Is this normal ?
Avatar n tn This is my fifth pregnancy. I lost all but one in the second trimester as well. Its been stressful and worrisome at times.

1706065 tn?1332934560 My nurse and doctor have both assured me it is safe to take during my first trimester. Did anyone else use this during their pregnancy? Thank you!
Avatar f tn I am 33 weeks also but not yellow or smelly discharge, I have noticed lots of white thickly discharge tho.
518733 tn?1333017015 Increased cervical mucus is something that can be experienced during any trimester, or in many cases, all of them. Most women complain of an increase again however, during the last month (or so) of their pregnancy.
Avatar n tn Has anyone had bacterial vaginosis during their first trimester? Any stories? Or advice until treatment?
Avatar f tn I believe I read that during the first trimester and third trimester, milky discharge is common. Third trimester, your body is preparing for birth so that's the reason for the discharge. My dr sofas as lon as it doesn't inch or have a foul odor, you are fine.
Avatar f tn There is always a chance of getting pregnant with condoms/birth control/ etc. Nothing is guaranteed. Some women do bleed during the first trimester of their pregnancy. I would take a test just in case. Some women will continue to bleed around the time of their period through part of or through their entire pregnancy. Like I said just take a test to be safe!
Avatar f tn Welcome to pregnancy. I've had discharge here and there pre pregnancy, but now that I'm pregnant I've had discharge almost everyday. I'm in my third trimester now, and it's horrible and has an odor. No STD's, not infections, sometimes that just comes with pregnancy for some women. Invest in some panty liners, and have your dr check to make sure you don't have any infections.
Avatar n tn It's totally normal to have discharge. Especially during the first trimester. It'll get better during the second trimester then worse again during the third. And ever since I've been pregnant I've been peeing constantly. Lol.
Avatar f tn It could be yur mucus plug so I would say early signs of labor...just make sure yu keep track of contractions...after mucus plug comes out it could be hours, days before active labor starts so keep that in mind.
