when i sneeze my arms hurt

OK, I turned 25 this last october... I played football for 6 years in school . I am 5'10" and about 240lbs.. I also have THE EXACT SAME PAIN in my arms/hands/neck when i sneeze. I have noticed that it has gotten progressively worse since around age 21 or 22... From my searching it seems that everyone with this problem has ONE thin in common, and that is that we all at one time or another played a full contact sport in our teenage years..

Recently I have noticed that I see stars when I sneeze. Almost like little fireflies for a few seconds. Does this happen to any one else? I'm just curious. Thanks!

-( im only 32 and I remember that is when I started being miserable with my last pregnancy too gonna be a long 8 weeks. Feet crushing ribs head pushing pelvis in two ugh extreme back pain esp with the 36G breasts I wanna cry it hurts so bad. What do you mommies do to help relieve pain?

I want to know how does it feel when you sneeze? .because when I sneeze it hurts a lil and I feel pulling in my belly and im like gee wiz it's just a sneeze! Do your sneezes hurt it sounds silly but I'm serious! !!

It is getting worse day by day, it started just hurting when i cough now its when i move or i wake up and stand. It hurts to breath to sneeze, to lift my arms above my head... everything... I went to the ER and the ran blood work and did and x-ray said they didn't see anything and it could be my gallbladder or a muscle strain....i just dont see why it is getting worse.....

When i cough or sneeze i get this little pain in the lower abdomen just below my bellybutton. Is this good or bad? Any advice?

m only 12 1/2 weeks but if noticed in the last couple of days when I sneeze I get a sharp stabbing pain on my right side lower tummy (by my hip ) it doesn't last long just a quick pain, anyone else get this? I was getting into a back seat of a car, leaned down on the seat sideways and the pain spot exploded so bad I almost collapsed into the car; leaning hard on my elbows on the desk also hurts). 2) Sneezing and deep breath into the chest. Again when the pain is at its worst I actually cannot sneeze because at the top of the motion it hurts so much that my body just kind of aborts the sneeze. Deep breaths into the chest only hurt a bit, but still noticeably.

I think I may have slept wrong or something. Butmy rib rright under my boob on the right side hurts when I laugh caugh sneeze. I haven't lifted anything or done anything that would make it hurt. It feels like it's bruised. I'm almost thinking my daughter kicked me in the ribs while I was asleep n I just had forgotten about it. Has this happened to anybody else??

I'm 34 Weeks , Every Time I Snezze I Get Like A Sharp Pain In My Side. Should I Tell My Doc ?

I have a bulging disk at c5 which causes me pins and needles when I sneeze or make sudden movements though I get them down my back and arms too. You should probaly see your GP to check yourself out. It could even be arthritis or something similar in your joints. All the best.

I am 37 weeks and 1day prego and its hard for me lay on my back now when i sneeze it hurts and when i try to blow my nose it hurts .....

If I sneeze or cough when I'm laying down, the same thing happens! :) Thank goodness my mom's a nurse so she's got all the answers and reassurance I need! :) We'll get through this, we just have sensitive muscles right now in our abdominal/pelvic region.

I have developed allergies over the last year. They seem to be getting worse. I haven't pin pointed exactly what I'm allergic to, but I will sneeze anywhere not just in my own home. I take an over the counter allergy medicine to help and it does help some. My question is...Why do I start sneezing as soon as I get out of bed and stand up? It's a new thing, only started when I caught my mother's cold. I don't sneeze on my own, so I have to tickle my nose hairs with a rolled-up tissue to clear my airways. These forced sneezes send pain shooting through my forearms. Not sure if it's the bones or the muscles that hurt. As far as really pulling a muscle goes, I don't think I did *at least*... Other times I can move just fine and it not hurt. It's just when I move too fast or turn over in bed and my body twists or when I sneeze or cough too hard. It didn't happen before I was pregnant, so this is just one of those reminders that lets me know I am.
