It can theoretically cause birth problems because it's a live vaccine. I'm no doctor but I did some research on the subject when getting my MMR shot in 2012. Please read the Center for Disease Control's info. A study done in the 70s and 80s didn't show an increase in Congenital Rubella Syndrome. Also the rates for miscarriage didn't increase when compared to the general population. It might make you feel better. Ask your doctor for more up to date info.
Go see a doctor if you suspect a miscarriage because you will want to know for sure so you can have a DNC if needed for your health.
But I have no idea what the doctor will say or tell us to do? DO they tell you what to do or do we tell them what we want? I am so nervous about going and so disappointed we have to see an RE at all. I was so praying it would just happen naturally but I am thankful that we do have this opition. Thank you guys so much for any advice you can give me. bleeding and the lowing of the hcg is a sign of miscarriage. i had a miscarriage once at 5.5 weeks and i didnt have any clots either because it was so early on. my period did last about 10 days though. i know how hard it is but i just want to be honest with you. it took about a week or 2 for my numbers to go back to "negative". im sorry for what youre going though.
I appreciate the comments about the social life. It helps to hear from people who have experienced it. I will consider it a milestone when I cross that bridge and reveal my status to a potential partner. I waited until second trimester to buy anything. The chances of miscarriage goes down by a lot. Just wait until you know your baby is healthy and you see a Dr a few times.
The days are getting cooler noe do you shouldnt have that problem. I have never had a miscarriage but when i was in my first tri i wrried all the time cuz friends of mine have. Im now almost 34 weeks and the baby is healthy as can be. Yall will be fine as long as you dont stress and remember always always always take a good prenatal everyday!
