Avatar f tn To me it sounds like something called cyclic/ cyclical vomiting syndrome. I suggest getting to a gastroenterologist and keeping a log of your vomiting spells, when they happen, and how you feel before and after. Hope this helps!

Avatar f tn Well it was bad and always coming back to my mental health and the risk of suicide well after the fear of what to accept the treatment so far has not been so bad. Just things that are out my control like bloods counts . But so far it's the nausea and joint pain and my hearing and sight is enhanced bit bizarre but nothing to write home about, although I am only coming up to week 3 fourth shot this Friday so I think I'm bit quick of the mark.
Avatar f tn Migraine headache often begins with what is called a prodrome, which may persist for hours to days, when patients note difficulty concentrating or fatigue without headache. The headache may be unilateral or bilateral, throbbing, moderate to severe, and worsened with activity. Accompanying clinical features include nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Other clinical features include neck pain, or occasionally dizziness, or difficulty thinking.

1435895 tn?1304291241 But now makes 3 times that I have started vomiting and not been able to stop. To the point of vomiting up stomach acid. One of those times I popped a blood vessel (capillary I guess) and was vomitng blood. This week has been 2 different times already. Of course we all know what wretching does to your head. The more you vomit the worse your head hurts. It just starts a vicious cycle of pain. Wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
Avatar f tn Hello, I do suffer with ocd. One of my fears is pregnancy. Although I'm not having sex, I still fear I can get pregnant :( it's a pain. So I went to a house party and I had to pee real bad, using other people's restrooms is a no no for me. But I was kinda tipsy and I had to go. As I was squating I slipped and fell on the floor on something wet. Idk if it was girl or guy pee. Now I'm freaking out with pregnancy thoughts like what if.

Avatar n tn The hair loss is most likely from the malnutrition caused by the vomiting and should subside once the vomiting is stopped and the proper diet and vitamins are resumed. I agree she needs to see her pediatrician, and have some testing done because only testing can determine the exact cause. Here are some things that might help in the meantime. You can try to feed her 6 smaller meals verses 3 larger meals. Feed her before 6pm if she losses her appetite around 6.
Avatar n tn However, your son could be having hallucinations in the dark or he could be suffering from a phobia called fear for the dark or Achluophobia. Since he also has autism, please consult his neurologist and get a pneuro-psychiatry assessment. Take care!
944787 tn?1287084773 I have found that having therapy opens your eyes to things you didnt even realise that was there and often i would sit back in amazement at the things i actaully discovered about myself, so now these discoveries have made me a far stronger person and i understand fully now why i am like this..... and the biggest thing of all is now i am not ASHAMED of being like this.
Avatar m tn I feel like I should test to know my status for definite and to certainly ease my concerns but I think the fear of it being positive will always be there. The vomiting and diarrhea are really what worried me despite the low risk, both the timing of that and then the symptoms I've had since then. I did see Dr Handsfield say once that vomiting and diarrhea weren't symptoms of ARS which reassured me slightly but again, other places say differently.
368646 tn?1208393887 One would need to add to that evidence of two or more places in the neuro exam where there is evidence of damage to the CNS. In addition all of the mimics of MS need to be ruled out. Nothing that you told us is suggestive of MS. I would hate to venture a guess what you are going through, but abdominal epilepsy might be considered - with the trigger being the change in hormonal status.
17213106 tn?1456525991 I have serious emetophobia and all of the above list nausea and vomiting as a side effect. What am I supposed to do?? I am never sick, I mean I never catch the common cold (most likely due to my phobia)so being sick for a month is really taking a toll on me. Does anyone have any suggestions? What's a girl to do?
Avatar m tn Hi Anny, I feel I'm in a similar situation as you (in terms of symptoms and fear of vomiting). In fact I'm 31 and haven't vomited in 20 years, due to my extreme fear. Hopefully I can give you some advice/help from a similar experience of yourself (meaning I wont tell you to do anything that will in any way make you fearful of vomiting). I take 150mg of Rantidine two times a day; once in the morning and once at night.
12680650 tn?1427307118 m not sure if it is the same as what RonL is describing, I know that sense of falling, that usually happens with a leg jerk or something like that. What I experience is a little different, it is as if you are almost semiconscious and right on the cusp of falling asleep but then feel yourself drifting into unconsciousness, but then a surge of adrenaline will radiate through our body. It seems as if there is no jerk involved... or at least my husband never seemed to notice.
701334 tn?1262853503 As for your increased HR after eating...this is quite normal due to increased vagal tone. What type of arrhythmia did your father have?
Avatar f tn I am having the same pains on the right side of my chest and they are becoming more frequent. I haven't gotten any answers so I was thinking about calling the emergency room nurse to see if she could help me out.
377493 tn?1356502149 However, I thought perhaps it might be interesting to see what the rest of the world is looking at. This is a documentary being shown on the CBC network (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). It highlights what we see right now and that we share your fear....we do love our neighbors to the south. But it also shows how perplexed we are over the absolute hatred this election seems to be bringing out. I thought it might be good for you to see it through an outsiders eyes....
Avatar f tn to me the fear is of the unknown and i find this is true with many folks. it is a lack of control that is frightening. as u go thru tx u will begin to get a sense of what it is like for u. the fear for me was mostly an early symptom. i stayed close to this forum and voiced questions as soon as they came up. the answers came day and night and were hugely comforting. better than a direct line to my doc!
10217138 tn?1421412465 I would give it a day. I have headaches everyday. And as far as vomiting and being dehydratted, drink some Gatorade or vitamin water which has electrolytes in it. Peanut butter toast may be something you can keep down. If it continues tomorrow, then I would go. But listen to your body, if something feels really wrong go ahead and go!
