I've been on doctor prescribed Roxicet (5/325) for the last 4 years due to neck and shoulder pain. I had gotten to the point where I was taking 2 pills every 4-6 hours. Due to some long hard work with physical therapy I was beginning to feel like I could start going off the Rox. Then on Monday I got a "bug". I threw up for 2 days. Hey-- I sm on day 3 of stopping cold turkey with 30 mg roxicet. I was a recreational user for about 4 months after I had been in the hospital for kidney pain and was recieving dialudid every 4 hours through IV for almost 2 weeks. For the past 2 months I have been snorting about 7 a day. Today is my third day off of it. And I'm reading so much about it and I really am only experiencing the shakes, hot and cold sweats and dirreah just started today however I feel okay.

If you have only been on them for 2 months, it will only last for a couple of days if it is WDs. Could it be possible that you are having those symptoms for another reason?

I can get by with taking 3-4 percs on a GOOD day (manageable pain) to 6-10 percs on a BAD day (usually when the weathers bad or working really hard that day - I clean houses). I never used to have a problem going without them for YEARS it didn't effect me, I thought I was unbeatable, untouchable. Until now. I don't get MAJOR withdrawl symptoms - I get the chills/minor sweatting in addition to, of course, the chronic unbearable back pain.
