My son started doing a similar eye rolling back in Feb. I swear it started after a few doses of Orapred for Croup. Been to pediatrician, neurologist had EEG all came back good. When he rolls his eyes they either go up real quick or up to a side just for a second. I continue with mouth sores/ulcers and sores on my tongue. The ENT had no answers for me. I finally went to GI and had an endoscope today. No reflux, but I had esophogeal webbing that he loosened and took some biopsies. I am not sure what is esophageal webbing or what causes this. Anyone with insight? s starting amoxicillon (the white one) for 10 more days. As for the cough, she has been prescribed 3 different meds for her cough pseudophedrine, prednisone (orapred), albuterol, and now prednisone again. Has anyone else's child had a cough that wouldnt go away. She's on the prednisone for 4 days. I'm thinking if the prednisone doesnt work, I'll go back to pseudophedrine.
That shuts down some of the acid pumps in the stomach reducing the amount of acid and threrefore the chance of having reflux. That is what I get for getting on in the middle of the night and wirting a reply while taking a neb. :chagrin:
