If you haven't been able to keep water down in 12 hours go straight to the ER. Eating isn't all that important the first trimester, what is important is keeping fluids down. When you go in they'll hook you up to an IV and give you fluids, they make keep you overnight. Ask your doctor about reglan. I have hypermesis gravidarum and the ONLY way I can keep things down is by using oth Zofran and reglan. Get to the hospital though, don't wait until morning.

I woke up and was told that I had an absolutely beautiful large intestine. The biopsies also came back normal. So my question here is what the hell? If there is no active disease will a biopsy come back with a normal result? If this is not Crohn's then what are the differentials. I also often have an itchy spot around my anus, bright red streaks of blood on occasion due to over whiping or hemmoroids and frequent canker sores in my mouth. Thanks for any help offered.

you need to have a blood test for HSV. when he swabbed the bump was it solid or was it an open sore? if solid skin he didn't swab it right as a fluid would need to be present for an accurate swab... ie an open herpes sore. you should be able to test for HSV and HIV and receive adequate results if its been that long since you've had any sexual partners. They didn't test you for any STDs while at the ER? they only treated you for what they didn't know yet?? just checking.

The pain was in the upper part of my rib cage left side only and back into my back under my left shoulder. The pain is not too bad but is constant. The pills help a bit my throat is not longer burning and the stomach is not as bad as it was. It has been several months and the back pain and rib pain (left side only) are still present. I have went back to the doctor andhe changed my medcine to Nexium (purple) and Propatinal (blood presure pill). These do not seem to be working.

Did you have any bleeding or spotting within that time period? Generally if your levels dropped it would indicate miscarriage, or something else going on but it's hard to say what exactly is happening. Are they having you come back in to get your levels checked again?

I have had issues with my gut since 2000. Had my gallbladder removed in 2005 (which resulted in me loosing my job). I've been tested for everything under the sun, celiacs, porphyria, chrone's. Had upper and lower GIs. Small bowel followthroughs, numerous CTs, X-rays, and even a partial MRI (they were looking at my hip, but could see the guts as well. Symptoms: Pain in the abdominal cavity that is never in the same place twice. Rarely will it go under the ribs.

So, I went to the er last night bc I was bleeding. They gave me a rhogam shot since I am RH Negative. However, I started bleeding heavily today and started having blood clots. Had anyone else had this shot? If so, did tug experience this problem as well??

Some is light red and last night was a little bit brighter red but no clots, no cramps. I am scared at work and leave in 15 minutes. Im either going home or to the ER, what should i do?

Just got home from the er after 6 long hours. No clots in my lungs, so they sent me a home with a prescription for blood pressure meds to hopefully help my heart rate & everything else. However now that I'm home I went to restroom as soon as I got home & had mucus discharge when I wiped..... :/ I'm 23+1 I called the on call Dr he said if it's not a ton don't worry and if I feel comfortable just going to bed go to the er.......otherwise schedule to be seen tomorrow.
