Methadone poisoning? sounds like your allergic, really seriously go and speak to your doc about it, i took methadone for some years and high doses and didn't experience problems like that. Try and focus on more positive things in life family, friends, enjoyable activities, you only get one short at this life and even though we may mess it up time to time try and stay happy!

Even the taste is unbearable now. Probably cause i anticipate the throwing up. It is horrible. Its turned into a nightmare I'm hoping that this week when i see the Dr. that he will switch me back onto the methadone I'm insisting on it. Not another day not another week.... I often will not take it for several days at a time because of it. Than when i do I kinda feel that I'm having withdrawal symptoms. Legs restless and leg pain. FOREVER! Seriously, it takes a month or longer. I highly recommend you get off of it a.s.a.p.! I know because I was on methadone for years! I'm on Suboxone and have been for 2 years. I suggest getting off the methadone and switching to Suboxone. But caution, with methadone in your system, you can have serious withdrawals and severe allergic reactions. You would have to have the methadone completely out of your system first. Methadone withdrawal is the worst ever.

m no medic but sounds to me like what may have started as allergic reaction or food poisoning has turned into dehydration which is a serious thing. If you're weak, you'll just get weaker. Youneed fluids like now, but if you can't get them down you may need IVs. I've been without insurance and better to get help and ask for social service assistance. Even if you have to pay $10 a month. 8 days is a long time without water. too long.

Suddenly yesterday and today about 3 hours after I dose, I begin feeling sick to my stomach and I begin urinating at least 30 times an hour. What is going on? Also, is there ANYTHING I can do to stop the constant urinating? I am drinking water at this point so I don't get dehydrated and also so it cleans out the "poisoning effect." Are you saying that you only took one dose of Methadone? If that is what I read, something does not sound right. After years of this, haven't you seen a cardiologist? You really should. You need to get to the bottom of this. If I am interpreting this wrong, please correct me.

f u are wondering what lamm is im here to answer ur question. it is a form of methadone that lasts much longer. u would go to a clinic Monday Wednesday and Friday. its designed to stay in ur system much longer and takes twive as long to begin withdrawling from then methadone. its abbreviated for levo alpha acetyl methadole. a lot of clinics stopped prescribing lamm about 8 years ago due to how strong it was.

My heart rate is usually in the 70-75 bpm range and now it is 100+. Sometimes I feel lethargic, but usually after I eat. Any help would be appreciated.

it sounds to me like a herbal medicine, honestly what I read of it is that the response to it is different for different people. Either stimulating or seditative depending on the dose. I highly suggest staying away from it due to the long lists of unknowns.

This is the question. When I go to a new pain doc next week will they be upset because I don't want to be detoxed all the way off of methadone? I don't have any dirties, I don't drink I had alcohol poisoning when I was 12 plus no rec drugs either. I had to go to a new pain doc, because my favorite doctor retired. I have read on here several post that people are using this to come off of high doses of opiates?? Is it an over the counter thing or a prescription? I am currently taking up to 100mg of 10/325 norcos and want to stop.....just curious what suboxone is. Don't really want to go to the doctor for help though....still trying to admit to myself that I can do this alone..... Any help??

we are still so thankful and so blessed for the ease we have experienced in coming off methadone...it is almost day 9. We are hanging in there, we still have rough times throughout the day, but nothing unbearable. This is what we need. Only people who take or have taken methadone understand about it. I am here to say that methadone has saved my life. Some people have such a negative opion of methadone but I think it is a great start to a road of recovery. Sure a lot of people abuse it but for those of us who want to do the right thing it really does work. I hope the Methadone Community stays for a long time to come. I do not even know how I found it. In our research prior to our detox, we learned that a vitamin deficiency caused by methadone is the primary factor in pain associated with withdrawals. It sounds like it could be food poisoning. If his fever gets to high get him to a hospital. Watch him closely. This may just pass but no guarantee.

i was in MORE pain the whole time i was on methadone, it did worsen for a few weeks when i stopped methadone and transitioned to sub, but it is 10 times better now than when i was on methadone... i cant explain it, but i sure do believe it. i didnt want to believe it at first, but when i finally made the decision to get off it, and was 4 weeks off it, i was amazed!
