Hello, Side effects of singulair are many varying from non serious ones like nausea,abdominal pain,headache,heart burns and GI discomfort to serious ones like anaphylaxis,liver damage and depression and hallucinations.You can take zytec(cetrizine) for your allergies but it is also not without side effects.They may vary from allergic reactions to raised heart beat,seizures and liver damage.

She is miserable without it and right now has a wicked cold. I have been reading now that clarinex is OK to take and other sites saying it is not OK. She is 21 weeks right now. Why would they say it is OK if it isn't? Thanks for any info.

she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all. She is getting so frustrated and has no idea where to turn next and who she should go to for further assistance, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have been sick many times this spring due to training and my two young kids bringing home everything from school. I have had a cough for 3 months or so now that will not go away. It is triggered when I try to breathe deeply. I feel like I have something in my chest that needs to come up. I cough constantly during hard training efforts. I cough less when not training but it is still there.

That should be done. Given that this has been going on for 6 months, it is probably time for you to have a CT scan of the lungs and/or a bronchoscopic exam. If your pulmonologist is unwilling to proceed with further testing, then yes you should seek a second opinion. Good luck.

Will purchase NasalCrom first thing in the morning. I have tried Flunisolide nasal spray last year, which helped for about an hour, then nose would swell back up and dry out real bad. Afrin worked great, but I was getting addicted to the spray, had to stop. Read long term use was not appropriate.

What really helped me was Clarinex prescription from my doctor. It doesn't work right away. They do have claritin OTC but it is less strong. It takes a while but then it works after a while and then I hardly had any allergies. Another thing you can try along with this is daily Nasal crom spray. It doesn't harm the nose like other nasal sprays.

I take singulair, clarinex-d and lipo-flavonoid (for ringing in the ear) also the jelly or goo I am seeing happens almost everyday or every other day, every week is different.

Try stopping current contact lens if you have them, try an oral antihistamine like Zyrtec, Claritin, or Clarinex, try an allergy drop like Patenol, Pataday, or Elestat, find out if you have allergies by seeing an allergist, then control any allergens that you are exposed to, see an ophthalmologist to be evaluated for possible oculare allergies, and also to be checked out for dry eyes. talk to ent doctor about vasomotor rhinitis. you can also have what is called as mixed rhinitis. There is no cure for vasomotor rhinitis. Mayo ent doctor told me to use nasal rinses twice a day for the rest of my life, use musinex tablets to keep drainage thin , use a humidifer. Doctor said the rinses may seem like they are not doing any good but they really are he said. Could have fooled me.

Both my GP and ENT say that since the mucus is clear there is no infection. Is is possible this is from Acid Reflux? And is there a test or procedure to know for sure? I'm considering going to my GI doctor. Just also want to state that I never had stuffy nose or runny nose only the thick post nasal drip. Thanks for your help.

I went to the doctor 8 months ago who said my ear drum was retracted and i was congested. He gave me some steroid spray for nose and some tablets for allergies as well as some antibiotics as my ear drum looked red. The meds made no difference. So here i am 8 months later tearing my hair out and racked with worry, anxiety and depression. I just want to feel normal again. I am currently taking Clarinex and prescription nose spray wit a steroid in it. Nothing helps my allergies. it is so bad i cannot even irrigate my nostrils with a neti pot- the water doesn't drip through. I a supposed to start allergy shots on tuesday of next week. Does anybody have any insight to this? Will this work for me? I was considering getting a surgery to clear my nasal airway. i know it won't cure my allergies but will help my quality of life.

this is what I've been doing for my "new" summer allergies that come with an dose of dizziness and at times vertigo. I can handle everything except the dizziness/vertigo.
