Arthrotec works well but is useless as most nsaids are during a R.A flare. If you are only having mild RA pain and just need something to keep it under control I highly reccomend trying Arthrotec. I am not a physician so of course speak to your RA Dr before using arthrotec dont want any issues with contradicting other meds you may be taking. Of course only you know what your pain level is and on major flare days only strong narcotics will help sometimes.

From what it sounds like is maybe Fibromyalgia. Did you only get tested for RA? I've been tested for Lupus, RA, Lymes disease, B12 def. (which was low), Ect... If you have been tested for everything else, I would assume Fibro. Can you ask your Dr. for a referral to a specialist?

Arthrotec is an NSAID, aspirin is also an NSAID, if that helps any. I don't thinks is quite as hard on your stomach as plain aspirin is though.

I'm with Cindee on this one, firstly what type of Dr. dx you? People can have more than one type of arthritis at the same time, if you haven't already you need to see a Rheumatologist and get all new labs done. I take Enbrel for my disease ( AS), my last rheumy gave me a RX for Lyrica which I did not even bother filling, not interested in gaining weight thank you! If you've been on Mobic for a long time it is entirely possible your body is no longer responding to it.

This medicine is very dangerous for a fetus during pregnancy, it is also very dangerous for someone who has recently had bypass or other heart surgeries.

Her neuro is one I have seen before and what he did for her was good, she is not on any disease modifiers, but she had a flare recently and she had to have solumedrol treatment. So if you get a woman saying "Spastic" sent me, it is her... She is a very sweet person...

i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. If you have degeneration of the discs or disc disease and nothing can be done surgically there must be a doctor that will manage your pain. There have to be other people who live where you live who are in need of help to manage chronic pain. Please do a search for doctors, MD's or Internists who deal with chronic pain. Something doesn't sound right here.

Everything came back normal and the cardiologist I met with said my heart is fine. Could something have been missed? Is there another test I should have to be sure? Could acid reflux cause these problems? I have also recently had my cholesterol checked and it is well within normal range and my blood pressure is fairly consistent at 118/78, I'm also a non smoker though I am overweight. I now have pain doing things like lifting light items like a quart of milk or opening the venetian blinds, turning my head to the right is painful. The pain is not like a typical stiff neck, but like I'm being sliced open with no anesthesia. I do have a herniated disc at c6 which I had a cervical epidural for almost a year ago. This is typical of docs here in the UK though they just suddenly want you to come down but if you go to the dettox place what are you going to do for pain meds. Dettox 5 is for complete dettox. It would be a complete waste ofmoney. You would not be able to cope with your pain with no meds at all. I learned that just because we are addicts it does not mean we must suffer pain.

Every doc has their own theory on how to deal with these diseases, I know they work for me. How is the Enbrel working for you? Also no part of my rib cage is painful with palpation, squeezing my ribs in any direction does not make the pain worse the pain radiates on my right side under my ribcage and I am very tender to palpate just below the ribcage from just below my sternum to my right side any pressing here I feel as pain and it radiates through to my back. I use it for neck and hand pain. Works very well for me. If helps my sister with the same issues. It's basically an NSAID for those of us with ulcers. I have no way of knowing if it would help you. But it doesn't affect you in the same way that Vicodin does.

who all say they dont really know what this is.. I am hopeful that this scope will help, but they said they will try to get him in, in a week or so, but it could be months. This is terrible to say.. but I dont want to leave him at home alone.. because I dont feel he can cope with this pain anymore. He goes to work each day (although not this week) because he has to.. but I know its hard for him.
